Such a wonderful stay in rural inn .returned many times .awesome .setting but no mobile signal so beware u need Wi-Fi in hotel so check that first .rooms are lush traditional English inn style in a budget I lived the staff and Bulgarian manager. Hard working and ace.

Stayed here a couple of years ago, had a nice size room, friendly staff, allowed dogs and food available as well. In remote area so was nice and peaceful, this does mean that there isn't great phone signal but that's due to the area and not the hotel and isn't the end of the world as there's WiFi.Style is old, however has unique character which was nice to see. Tea /coffee was available in room and also had TV.Not everyone's cup of tea if you're a person who likes everything to be modern and simplistic, however I enjoyed my stay and would stay again if was back in the area.

Out in the middle of nowhere. No phone signal and the wifi isn't great in the hotel. Our room smelled of sewage (bad drainage) would not reccomend the breakfast. £6 for 1 slice of bacon, 1 egg, 1 sausage and some beans.

Good food, spacious rooms, heating always on so place is nice and warm. Hotel staff are very accommodating. Great place for a quick get away without fuss.

Loved the place, very quiet and warm.Room was a little tired, but clean enough (apart from the empty beer bottles under the TV cabinet).Had a lovely nights sleep due to the silence outside, you could hear a pin drop.No TV remote, pitiful amount of towels and could have done with more pillows.None of that bothered us though. What did bother us was breakfast, well the breakfast we didn't get.Upon arrival we were asked what time we would like breakfast, we said around 08:30-08:45.The desk manager told us we were fine up until 9am as it was a Saturday and they wouldn't be that busy.We entered the breakfast area at 08:55 to be greeted by a puzzled looking fella who was cleaning tables. He told us that breakfast was finished as it was 09:15, even though it was 08:55.He toddled off to the kitchen and told the cook/owner, who came out telling us breakfast was finished. We asked if we could have a bit of toast (thought it was a reasonable compromise) and take it back to our room.He informed us we couldn't do that as they don't allow it in the room, our room had a small table with two dining chairs and a table cloth on the table, what's that for then?I couldn't be bothered to ruin our little break by arguing about it, this was the first day off my Mrs has had in five months (yep, not a single day off, seven days a week!).We left and went for breakfast elsewhere and had a beautiful and relaxed time.I hope the £12, for the breakfast we didn't have, chokes you.To you, it was just an small thing. But for us it was massive one.You couldn't even chuck some toast on, we would have sat outside so you wouldn't have the torture of laying a table.Won't be back, which really is a shame as we loved the place for a bit of peace and quiet and could overlook the small faults in the room.

This is an inn with a nice homely feel in a quiet rural location; with free parking and free wifi covering the entire establishment. Clean and spacious self contained rooms and the restaurant add to the pleasant rustic feel. The staff make you feel so much at home.

Won't be staying here again !! What started off as lovely and quite went for breakfast at 8.55 to be told all finished !! I asked for toast but got told they would have to set up a table ! We asked to take it to our room and was told no !Bearing in mind that we had paid for breakfast tooWhat a shame they are so rude. Really disappointed as was planning on staying again but when your told breakfast finishes at 9 ! And you ask for toast a 8.55. The manager / owner said as long as it is before 9am And being only 3 guests staying including two of us we can now see why

Stayed here for my wedding with my groomsmen. We had 2 rooms in the Inn. The place is quaint, quite basic but was perfect for us. Manager was extremely friendly and accomodating. It isn't the Ritz but we had a great stay and the breakfast was fab!!

Bar staff are very helpful and friendly. Food is great, with good sized portions. Pub itself is very worn. Accommodation is dated, but bed comfortable and linen nice and clean. Good for dogs 😊. Lovely breakfast. Has a lot of potential as a pub, restaurant and inn.

All staff were friendly and helpful, the room was fantastic and the spa bath was just a treat. My dog also was made to feel at home, free parking, great food. Definitely coming back soon was a brilliant weekend.
