Food is a high standard, but we were advised all the Yorkshire puddings had gone (Sunday roast at 7 pm). But they were on our plates when we were served! It is very busy, so maybe not the best time if you want peace and quiet. We will be back, but maybe not on a Sunday.

Great food, first class service, lovely atmosphere and surroundings. Ben was outstanding as our waiter and we all had amazing meals. Can't wait to go again and there's no better recommendation than that!

A real exquisite family pub/restaurant which you wont regret visiting. Beautiful views, clean tables, great staff. amazing food & drink especially when the sun comes out, it is the place to eat!!Cost wise, it is expensive and with lack of specials, you will notice the difference in the bank account afterwards, you really will but let's take nothing away from the venue, a really enjoyable place to eat & drink.

Really nice place, love the character/ambience, it's not too loud and there's plenty of parking too. Dog friendly bar area and great variety on the menu. The food is always delicious but unfortunately service is very very slow- I've visited 3 times and on every occasion we had to wait over 20 minutes just for someone to produce the bill! However with more staff this place is definitely a winner.

From the outside this looks like a small village pub, but it opens up to a large area with lots of seating, the decor is like a swish restaurant with plenty of room between tables. We visited on a Sunday, good menu with a selection of roasts and alternatives, staff quick of the mark taking drinks and food orders, food was very good with good sized portions.Large car park and the bar seating area is dog friendly

I am not a habitual complainer, but then again i am certainly not afraid to complain when necessary. I am very pleased to say however that the Horseshoes gave us no cause for complaint whatsoever. Quite the opposite in fact. The ambiance was extremely warm and a welcome contrast to the dire weather outside. The real fires and attentive service set the mood, and the superb food and drink completed the picture beautifully leaving the lasting impression of a great place we cannot wait to return to.

Pretty relaxed pub, went here around 9:30 on a Thursday evening and was still relatively busy with a mix of groups and ages. Nice choice of beers and other Drinks. Food is decent there too when I have eaten. Dress up!

We have been going to the house for years but our last 2 visits have been disappointing. The first was in December so we expect things to be a little busy and slower. Everything was lovely until we ordered dessert. After waiting 45 minutes after ordering we asked where our dessert were to be asked what we had ordered again. At this point our toddler was getting fractious so we decided just to get the bill which took a further 45 minutes. Today we went again and again everything was smooth until we ordered dessert. After 30 minutes we asked how long it would be. Response from the waitress wasn't apologetic just that there were 20 tickets in the kitchen and she had chased. So again we just asked for the bill which thankfully came quite quickly.

Had a beautiful Sunday roast here not for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed every part of it. Homemade tomato soup was thick creamy and delicious, partners chilli squid equally delicious. Great choice of different gins, only criticism would be the rather high prices for their wines. Real log fire, great ambiance and thoroughly recomend.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Kent. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! Thanks to Barman - Toby for a lovely drinks, cocktails wow, wine great and lovely selection of beers. Ella & Abbi were great, efficient, happy and polite. Not to forget - Mathew for delicious Pork belly, Burger, Lamb rack, pizza & Steak. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in and around Kent.
