Old fashioned style of country pub which is all but disappearing. Lovely warm fire and nice friendly staff and good old fashioned food, limited menu but it's better to do a smaller menu well than offer lots badly .. and the food WAS good ...

This is a proper pub. A bit old fashioned but great beer. Food is good too. Bit off the beaten track which probably is an advantage for those who know about it.

Nice little pub out on the Kentish countryside. A nice selection of beers and they had the local Double Vision cider when we visited. The menu is brief, but the food was very good and there was something for everyone in our party.

Lovely rustic pub, popular with the locals, consistently good for the last 10+ years. If you love good old English food in a country setting this is ideal! Reasonable prices for such tasty pub grub! A family favourite year on year

Visited here for the first time today. Lovely cosy traditional (in a good way) pub. Real fires, no screaming children, decent food, friendly atmosphere and very good value for money. We’ll definitely be back.
