The Muggleton Inn - J D Wetherspoon in Maidstone

Went for lunch with my young daughter loved that they had board games to play while waiting for food and just as extra entertainment :)

Absolutely disgusting, 4 meals came out almost stone cold, onion rings were burnt 2 a crisp, lasagne was burnt n grosse. The staff are HORRENDOUS!!! Got served by the 'manager', same table ordering but only took half the order n made us wait 2 order the other half with another staff member after 10mins! Both members of staff (one behind the upstairs bar and one the 'manager' upstairs were beyond RUDE and unprofessional. And the best bit, THE WHOLE PUB HAD NO SALT?!?!?! There's a shop over the road?! U don't accept a lot from muggs but defo expect more then the shocking food we had today and the horrendous staff

Breakfast has been terrible last couple months. Changed the vegetarian sausage to an inedible version, food cold, orders wrong regularly, dirty surroundings, however coffee is good! Gave them a 3* as they used to be so much better

Polite staff, friendly & chatty. Didn't take long to get a drink, or a seat for that matter. Had a couple of drinks with my best mate, & not too noisy for chatting... Always enjoy a drink here...

Had two meal deals inc pint of beer. Ran out of first two choices wife made but had third. Lovely food for the price. Decor bit dated and couple loud customers but it is cheap as their chips and two dinners inc two pints for less than £20 is not bad in my book.

Enjoyable lunch with fish & chips for one & small brunch for me. Good food although batter on fish made it look like it was a lion fish under it. Bad points - tired decor & chairs with ripped seats.

Went for breakfast, never been before and was a bit disappointed as breakfast was just warm and baked beans were cold. Good price but if warmer would of given more stars. Was surprised that no masks were being worn by staff.

Although, my partners food arrived and the meat was cold! It was quickly & professionally rectified by Amy and a freshly cooked meal was delivered in relatively quick time. Not only that, but the original price of the meal was refunded without question. Added to that the lovely staff singing 'Happy Birthday' to our 8 year old son (this was his birthday meal and the staff weren't initially aware of this). Making this Birthday meal very special and memorable.Thank you to All the staff involved. But, especially Amy (who served Table 27 today)

We came for breakfast on 22nd Dec and was disappointed as beans, egg and bacon all cold... sausage and hash browns were just warm. Thought we would give them the benefit of the doubt and try again today but I’m afraid no change... cold beans, cold egg and burnt and cold bacon... chips just warm but tasted of onion rings and sausage just warm... think we will give it a miss next time.

It's a Wetherspoons! Decent size establishment across two floors including outside seating at front (street) and back (beer garden). Everything you would expect from a 'Spoons in terms of food and drinks - you get what you pay for. Whilst there seems to be some criticism of the staff I have always found them to be friendly and helpful.
