The Oak on the Green in Maidstone

Great portion sizes and for a reasonable price. Very nice atmosphere and vibe. Good staff. My steak was slightly over cooked - maybe should have asked for a rare. My calamari was really nice and also the garlic bread we got for the table

I have always loved this pub, fantastic food and atmosphere with lovely staff, however, the last couple of times I have visited I have been disappointed, went today as a last chance and was so happy that the fabulous food has returned. Great meal in great atmosphere with lovely friendly staff. Looking forward to next visit

Visiting from US, very good food. Good portion sizes, great prices, very friendly staff. Got the Hogs and Mash - delicious and recommended.

Just enjoyed a wonderful lunch with a group of 10 colleagues. The table was set very nicely before we arrived. Service was impeccable. The food was really tasty and the portions were generous. Everything was quick and we were well looked after, staff were all smiles. We will definitely be returning.

Pleasant pub with really good food and best. There were three local ales. Service was friendly and efficient in good environment. Plenty of parking and easy to get to.

Amazing food. Just had the juiciest, most flavoursome burger I've ever had. Family enjoyed their food too. Good service. Good atmospher.Only complaint really was that the table was a bit small and not much room around us to move. (Party of 4 (2x adults, 2x children). Did not spoil the experience though.

Warm welcoming venue, low enchanting lighting with fairy lights and candles. Friendly staff and food is wonderful. We had steaks and they were absolutely on spot 👌 Would definately make return visits.

The best place ever. The food served in this restaurant is exquisite and very fresh. Very delicious!😋😋😋❤The ambiance is very calming, welcoming and romantic. My family from Ecuador and USA and I were visiting Europe, on the day that we visited the "Oak on the Green" restaurant we had finished visiting the Dover castle, it was a very cold day and we drove to the town straight from Dover.No restaurants were opened, and we were very hungry. We arrived to "Oak on the Green" just before they closed, we asked the manager if we could be served. He happily told us welcome! He made sure we got attended and the service was superb!We will forever be grateful for that and we always recomend it to all our friends in USA and Ecuador. Thanks a lot Oak on the Green!:)

Very very busy on a Sunday evening, which meant slightly slower service I guess. My partner wasn't given a steak knife for her mains, and didn't really enjoy her steak - was really salty, the sauce was over £3 which I thought was expensive.My ribs were really nice, kids enjoyed their dinners. Would probably visit again, staff seemed friendly.
