The roast was OK, not as good as The Bull nearby but fair enough. Not everyone is taken with other parts of the menu. Quick. Amiable. Helpful. Large car park. Not busy on a Sunday lunchtime.

Remarkably interesting menu for a chain pub, we really enjoyed our burgers (cheeseburger and Korean fried chicken) and the fries were absolutely delicious. I had the spicy dirty fries- best part of the meal. Great service, nice spacious and clean pub. Big car park. Will be back.

We really enjoy coming here, its a Lovely warm welcoming place! We didn't wait too long for our food, The chicken chips and salad was delicious and my partner had the fish and chips which he said was excellent! Highly recommend.

Our colleagues have been recommending it to us for some time so our team decided to try it out. The service was good, the staff were quite friendly and happy.Reasonable food for a reasonable price, made a touch better as they accept Blue Light Cards to bring the cost down a bit.We were told to book a table as it can get busy, but on a Monday evening it wasn't busy at all, and the service was quite quick. We will come back again and try some of the other food on the menu.

Never been here till tonight, was not at all disappointed. Friendly bar and waiting staff, even the bouncer smiled a friendly smile as we left. Parking space is amazing. The food.... we shared a chicken platter, this was to die for! Four types of prepared chicken, each with a sauce topping and fresh garnish, will be a satifactory starter for 4 people sharing. This would have satisfied us as is, and we are tempted to come back just for the wings. Hubby had steak, was cooked perfectly and he has come away very happy. I ordered Korean chicken burger with dirty fries, and was tempted to ask for it to be wrapped so I could take it home as I was stuffed from the starter. It already came wrapped, lucky me! I have since eaten the fries, heaven. I had the bacon dirty fries. The burger has defeated me, but I am optimistic it will taste yum tomorrow! Really enjoyed our visit to the Pippin. Thank you! 😊

My friend took us on a night out and booked here for food. Checked the menu before I went and saw 1kg of wings for £6.99, and I knew then and there I was going to like The Pippin.Lots of seats and a big open space makes it feel light and like you have room to breathe and move.Staff were friendly and service was very quick. Obviously I ordered the wings, and I could have had seconds they were so nice. Will definitely be back for them again, and maybe even try some of the other menu items if I ever get bored of wings!

Visited on a Saturday evening in December with a group of friends. Seats immediately available, (with possibility to book ahead as with most Greene Kings) and staff were friendly and accommodating. The festive burger was very nice with a decent portion size. Drinks seemed a bit expensive for the location, closer to London prices than you would expect for a chain.

What a fabulous find.I've been to other Green King pubs but this is the nicest by far!Lovely building...large car park.I've been twice in the last weekOnce for lunch and today fir brunch. We had a very posh bubble & squeak with smashed avocados and poached egg.Comfortable seating, a conservatory.A pub game!Live music evenings.Courteous staff.Nice music.Fair prices.I'll be back, highly recommended 👌

Nice pub overall. Parking available. Decent size with plenty of seating. Food was surprisingly decent, although the fish and chips did not really make the mark. The hospitality on the food side requires improvement, as the service does not math the quality of food. Dirty pub like tables, no napkins etc... A little more attention to detail could go a long way. Overall enjoyable and will return.
