Building has character. Enough food to fill us up though basic. Three real ales- the London Pride wasnt quite right. Harvey's bit better.Staff were friendly and helpful.

We called in here on our way home from an event so we missed the rush hour traffic. It was very quiet and there wasn't much of an atmosphere, but the food was spot on and the waitress was really friendly. We had the sausage and mash and ham egg and chips. Would definitely recommend.

If I could put 0 stars I would. This measly portion of garlic mushrooms on toast was £6.95. The service was potentially the worst I have ever had, every order we made the waiter had to come and double check and still ended up getting it wrong. Then when he went to the kitchen with our complaints, we could hear them arguing about us from our table. The chef had told him to come and apologise to us because he argued with us about our order, and he came out and said nothing to us, just bitterly gave us our food.DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE. Although it seems cheaper than the pub next door, it is not worth saving £5!!!
