We booked a table here for dinner, food was awesome and really tasty. Prices were about on par with other restaurants (as opposed to pubs) but for what you get I think it was worth it!Pub itself was well presented, and the staff behind bar greeted us with a smile.Unfortunately it seems they had a busy day and the desert choices after meal were 'limited' (there was only two choices). I guess I shouldn't be eating desert anyway...!!Look forward to visiting again at some point in the future.

Great service. They had good chemistry from experience working together, I assume. The food was simple but made with love. The ambience was cosy and great. Service was attentive and natural. Well worth visit and the lady who seemed lie manager on Sunday, you could tell she was in control. Well done amazing food. Best we had in long time.

Good quality pub food and pleasant, helpful staff make this a good place to catch up with friends over a few beers. Choice of beers / lagers / ciders was reasonable with some local brews on offer. The chicken schnitzel we had was the size of a whale and would probably feed two adults.

Tried to visit this 'dog friendly pub'. Went to the beer garden and our dog got attacked by two West Highland terriers not on leads. Decided not to stay and took our business elsewhere.Don't know who the dogs belonged to, but it certainly wasn't a friendly experience for our family.

Beautifully presented pub restaurant Food doesn’t get much better than that served at the Unicorn Pub and Restaurant. I love to take a snap or 50 of pubs; at the Unicorn it was the food that stood out.Inside, the interior is fresh with a mix of modern bright trinkets and farming equipment (just to make you aware you are in a country pub). The restaurant is humble, beaming from the light pouring in though it’s small windows. It is separate, but open to the bar area. The staff were humble, professional, chatty and courteous. The menu consists of a focussed range of traditional foods presented in their menu and on their specials board. Food arrived quickly and delivered accurately.Another great pub experience, The Unicorn crafts traditional foods beautifully in a refreshingly modern setting.

Food was excellent and the new Landlords charming. The staff could not have been more attentive, but unintrusive. Calm and ambient. Loos very clean, always my arbiter in a new visit. Looked into the kithen, it was spotless. Reasonable Carpark size but on streent parking available nearby and super large, light garden with covered area for smokers or during the odd shower.Would recommend a visit, the meat, my favourite is gammon, was fantastic and the small side sald a nice touch. Now the pudding, normally brought in but the have a pudding specialist who makes EVERYTHING in house. I had the chessecake and the icecream was even made with local cream and eggs. Just WOW.Warm advocado stuffed with Brie and crispy smoked Bacon started the meal, Salad and dressing was perfect. No photo of main course I was too busy enjoying it. There was a vegan eating with me and his dish was fresh and cooked to order, he said it was delicious. I think you will not regret a visit!

A really pleasant place and excellent cuisine! Friendly staff, tasty dishes, however the desserts are way too sweet.
