Fantastic experience, food was lovely staff were great. We had this waitress called Nori and she was amazing friendly and nothing was to much trouble . Would definitely go back

I visited with friends at lunchtime yesterday. I was told we couldn’t have coffee as they didn’t have any milk! I suggested they went across the road to buy some , this was rejected. I find it incredible that a restaurant can function without this basic commodity unless all food is pre-cooked when bought in.? However they were happy to serve wine and cocktails with our lunch!

I enjoyed a lovely meal here with my parents, then went for a drink in the cosy bar area. Manager Sophie was so warm and welcoming, and the food was impressive.They are dog friendly so i will have to keep that in mind for next time.

So disappointed, popped in for a quick snack and drink in the bar area which unfortunately was stinking of dogs... Quite off putting when eating and I am a dog lover! The IPA was served up cloudy, my drink was under measured and the fries we ordered hadn't a hint of parmesan truffle oil or anything else because they were plain old cold fries. I wanted to send them back however, we had waited nearly half an hour for them and then waited longer for condiments to arrive and eating utensils by which point I'd lost the hangry plot and decided to move on to the next pub. Such a shame that I parted with £26 for this unfortunate experience.. Would I book a table here again ? Probably not.

Went here for Sunday Roast - both the food and service was amazing! We were greeted by Mirek, the manager who was so accommodating and friendly! The waitress’ were all very lovely and provided great service all round!

Booked last minute got a table for me and my 8yr old son service was brilliant staff friendly and always had a smile,I'm an Executive Head Chef of a football club and hard to please most times although the Scallops wer very small for the price they did taste nice, I had trio of Roast exactly what I was looking for today lovely,my boy had mac n cheese he thought it was the best one ever and he's had a lot believe me.Over all we had a lovely experience and my boy and I are going back.Thank you

Visited the White Horse for a Sunday roast with a friend last week.We had a great time! The food and drinks was great and prompt, and staff were so pleasant and attentive. We were served by two waitresses who i believe to be Izzy and Molly.Would recommend to anyone who asked about the cosy pub and we will be returning soon!

This place is just lovely for date night to have a meal and some cocktails. Was very delighted with our visit and the staff, Catherine the host was very helpful and made sure we got out table on time, so we would make it on time for our train.

Decent service from bar person, very friendly. Great ambience. But very poor food quality and quantity. I left feeling hungry. Pasta dish was very odd and sparse, very disappointing. Fish seem like it has been on a juice diet. The chicken used for kids meal was dry and also used for pasta too. Shame, as place lovely and service was friendly enough. Food was disappointing when £16+ for poor pasta and £15+ For fish and chips. Kids mac and cheese wasn't good sauce (said by 9 year old), and tight serving too. The kids enjoyed the fries, but you can’t get them wrong.

My friends and I use this pub a lot and it's really odd. Sometimes some good food but mainly not in the bar. Never really have a full stock of wine. Its a real shame. Still go back because of its lovely surroundings and pub. Don't have any pizza left on many occasions. Don't have specific popular wines on many occasions. On the plus side over the last year you get served quicker at the bar. I suspect they have lost a lot of business to the oak on the green and the yeoman down the road. It's a real shame as could be so much better.
