Beautiful hotel 🏨 and very clean. Staff are amazing. The rooms are very large and comfortable, bathrooms very clean. Location is 5 minutes away from the town centre. Food is all cooked fresh and tasty

£102 for 2 people including breakfast. We stayed in room 2 where there are no curtains fitted to the rails behind the bed, so up at 05:30 which wasn't ideal, the room was spotlessly clean. We felt it over priced as it was so basic.

Room was too hot to sleep in. Noise from restaurant felt like the people were in your room. Immaculate room and toilet. WiFi not the best. Room was next to the stairs and the door was banging at 0400 when drunken oiks returned. Awful night.

Excellent service from Stephanie who checked me in and served breakfast. Nice, comfy room with fast WiFi. Breakfast was excellent with good coffee, fresh fruit and croissant.

I almost don't want to share and just keep this gem to myself. Fantastic accommodation and staff.

Stayed here in room no. 11 for a couple of nights last weekend. Was welcomed and accommodated nicely and the room was very clean. The first night I ate in the restaurant, which was nice. The second night I ordered a takeaway and the staff were more than happy to provide me with a plate and cutlery.My only minor comments were it would have been nice to have a chest of drawers in the room. And with the room being three storeys up and facing the main road, it was also open to the elements. Due to the quite strong windows, the window was rattling.

The room had everything in it that we needed. It was spotlessly clean. House keeping can be commended and thanked for the pride they obviously take in their work. The bed was very comfortable. We had a restful night's sleep on a firm mattress and fluffy pillows. The shower is perfect, just found it difficult not to get water on the floor no matter where you stand under it. The towels were soft and fluffy. The price of the room was just a little on the expensive side as breakfast was not included in the price. The town centre is just a few minutes walk from the hotel. Plenty of eateries in the town if you choose not to eat dinner or breakfast in the restaurant.

Very nice comfortable hotel & bed but too hot in the room was upstairs no air-conditioning & fan was rubbish did ask for a different one but said they were all the same also nowhere to put your clothes no drawers only a small hanging bit ! Shower needs a door on it water goes everywhere ! Plus side the Miller & Carter restaurant was excellent good selection of fresh food good service & friendly staff !!

I had a room on the top floor at the back of the property. Good location for town centre. Friendly check in. having no lift may be an issue for some people. Bedroom and bathroom were good size and had all the normal facilities. No Air Conditioning but a fan was provided, and I had the window open. Downside to this was that I was woken at 06:30 on a Saturday morning whilst on holiday. I phoned downstairs but no one answered. I mentioned it up check out and they said there was nothing they could do about the time or length of time the noise went on for. I had a breakfast to go and this was nice. Good to see the cutlery provided was not plastic.

Not the worst but close.....couldn't be sure if anywhere was sanitised, family room 2 towels and sofa bed not made up...not clear if breakfast but no one was on site to ask even though it said speak to reception. Room damp through the ceiling, very noisy and heavy slamming fire door right outside room at 5am! Finished off with no car registration taken so now waiting for a penalty notice to appeal because venue can't deal with it.....thought we would get over Hilton but doesn't compare at all.
