Comfortable bed. Tired looking room. Very little power in the shower water pressure yet the tap at the sink could overflow it. Stayed for four nights with work. Not one night at the bar did they have a full complement of beer offered. Stella only the first night. Then Corona or Budweiser the second night. Didn't even bother on the third and the fourth just Mahou. Had the Mexican burger which tasted like any other burger, was expecting something a little fiery. Didn't bother again with food as was disappointed with the burger. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. One of the girls on the bar was brilliant at her job with great people skills, shame the other was totally the opposite. Did also notice that one of the rooms had had it's door and frame ripped off and the door was just lent against the inner frame. The Starbucks in reception was good. Had a gym too. As the boss had booked two rooms on one booking we had to pay for one of the vans to park! Found that strange.

Excellent facilities. Pool is big and good for families and lone lane swimmers alike. Steam and sauna rooms were great. Restaurant was really good, family pub grub, kids enjoyed it. Breakfast was good. Staff were very good. The rooms were a little tired but nice clean bed and good size. Highly recommend.

When you book into the village you know what you’re getting, check in was easy and contactless. We had a family room with a king bed and 2 roll away singles. Room was in good nick, really liked the rainfall shower in the bathroom. TV did have a limited number of Sky channels. Didn’t use the gym but did enjoy food in the restaurant.

The food / bar is terrible - food portions are tiny, choice poor, most beer pumps not available, prices sky high £5:20 for a pint of Guinness (last resort as no normal beers available) bar price list says it is £5 - bar person didn't care that price list was wrong. Room and leisure facilities good but totally let down by food and drink offering

I am disabled and havnt been able to swim safely for more than 10 years .But Richard was so helpful in making me feel safe and secure getting in /out of the pool and heated jacuzzi. We had to negotiate several steps but with the help of him and my 2 friends they made me feel less of a burden and I loved every minute of being in the pool and jacuzzi.Wonderful.

Room good, but needed a better clean. Bed really comfy. No information in room, unless you can use apps. Grill bar expensive. Not enough choice of food. Burgers too large, don't do smaller meals. Staff lovely & helpful. Expensive.

Unfortunately, we were pretty disappointed with our stay at this hotel. If you get a room that is on the first floor then you will be able to hear absolutely everything from the bar and gym on the ground floor. We were told that if it gets to noisy we could move, which we wanted to do but then were told that we couldn’t because they were fully booked...If your looking for a quiet sound proof room then you wont get that here- we were woken up a few times by the people next door doing an activity & could hear every single step from the people upstairs.Had to ask a few times for some more shampoo & shower gel and oh no phones in the rooms to call reception so had to go down to the lobby each time to speak to someone.

Used this as a short stay. Had explained that we would arrive late to check in. This was no problem at all. Room great. Only problem was it did not have shower gel but we brought our own so it wasn't a problem. Would stay here again.

Great hotel.Rooms are massive,Could do with another comfy chair in there and also the noise from the downstairs gym you can hear the music right up in the room at first floor level I was working nights and it's my first time there so will get a second floor or top floor room next time .Apart from that belting hotel great staff .Will return ASAP with workAndy M
