"Traditional country pub with low beams and a lovely cosy atmosphere. In winter there is a warm inglenook fire place with large wood burning stove. There is a large patio garden which is very popular in the warmer months. Classic pub food is served to a high standard including daily specials and fabulous Sunday Roast lunch. The bar is well stocked and Harvey’s Best bitter and a guest ale are available. Well worth a visit and booking in advance is advised to avoid disappointment. Commended for being dog friendly and dogs are welcome both inside and in the garden. The pub and restaurant are not open all day but food is served from 12 to 2pm and again between 6pm and 9pm everyday except on Sunday evenings. Call 01622 831956 for more details."

Nice pub, certainly seemed popular for lunch on our visit. Also has a good size outside space when the weather is warmer (although did also have a couple of outside heaters even if it isn't warm!)We had a few drinks and the staff seemed friendly - nice touch that they noticed us finishing a drink and offered to get more.Will come again another day and try food...!

Had a lovely meal in the pub's garden (the garden was calm, cool and relaxing). The Owners were lovely, friendly and welcoming. The food was great too. Lucky Marden people 🤗🥂😊

Enjoyed an excellent breakfast this morning with the family. Washed down a bottle of prosecco and glasses of orange. Great to be able to enjoy hospitality like this again.

The couple that run the West End Tavern are so so lovely. They recommended a local IPA that was delicious and they kindly dropped us off at our camp site. Would totally recommend this gem!

Nice pub with a good relaxed environment. Food was nice and served promptly. Low ceilings are always something a little unnerving to me after a couple but I'm sure the rustic charm is liked by many.
