Bombay Lancer in Medway

Disappointed. Placed an order an hour and 15 minutes ago for naan bread, poppadoms, onion bahjis and a bottle of coke. Quite simple to prepare. Still not arrived and I phoned the restaurant to speak with someone very rude. Didn’t even ask for my address or order number and was muttering over everything I said. Never had issues before but unfortunately must have caught them on a bad day!

Worst restaurant with no manners. Had ordered a biryani for £15 and called up to ask, is it the big portion? He said its a medium portion as everything has gone up. Then they cancelled my order without informing me. Shame these restaurants are operated by crooks !!!

Food was absolutely disgusting and after writing a review the owner replied with false comments which I've also noticed he's done identical to other bad reviews maybe take a long hard look at yourself and your food you absolute liar!!!!! Wish I'd taken photos of the dishes even the poppadoms were vile!! Take responsibility for YOUR actions!

Wrote a review on just eat and they didn’t show what I wrote. Wrong order arrived. Driver came back food was cold. Way to hot to eat dry chicken. A dish came with baby potatoes they was a full on massive spud no chicken. Wrong breads. Called to complain they said they don’t do potatoes with any dishes they don’t even know their own menu. I said it arrived cold the second time he said impossible the other people called to say theirs was lovely and hot. We are still in a pandemic I’ve touched their food put some out where as a new order should have been sent. I got abuse and shouted out and they was doing nothing about it the food was perfect. Absolutely disgusting customer service what vile People

DO NOT USE THIS RESTAURANT!Tonight my partner made an order through Uber, after I returned home from work. It was due to arrive no later than 10:30pm. The order did not turn up until 10:50pm. When we finally got our order it was completely wrong. Not a single dish was what we had ordered. The value of the order was also significantly lower.My partner could not get through to them at first so I called and spoke to them. The man on the phone asked me questions about the order (leading me to believe they are going to help) only to then be hung up on. My partner called them on his phone and they answered but remained completely silent when they realised it was for the same order.We called back +25 times and nothing.We have used this restaurant before and have always been happy with it. If they had just spoke to us and corrected the issues it would have been no problem at all.The customer service was a disgrace, and we will be asking for a complete refund. I have proof of order and pictures of what we received, as well as my call history.Will certainly not be using Bombay Lancer again and I suggest no one else does either!

Had a takeaway tonight from my favourite restaurant and it was another cracker! I ordered the lamb chop kandari and it was well worth the price. The hot sauce was delicious and the chops had just the right amount of spicing. Thoroughly enjoyable and delivered quicker than expected. Thank you Bombay Lancer!

I have been ordering from this restaurant for over 2 years now and when I ask for delivery it’s generally delivered on time or slightly early. When I want to collect at a certain time my order is always ready for collection so that I can collect it on my way home from work. I can’t thank the restaurant staff enough - 5 stars - Best Indian restaurant in Medway.I normally order chicken and lamb dishes with rice and naan. I like the spicy food and it is always excellent tasting. They have some really good chefs here and have recently introduced a new menu which is excellent and has lots of new dishes which I will now start to try. The chef online site always has some special offers on, which I use to get a discounts. It also has the full menu.Food always tastes fresh and the portions are a good size so this is my regular take away place for dinner.Thanks

Absolutely disgusting.My wife ordered plain rice and recieved a microwave rice and Rubery.The shaslic was so dry and over cooked it was in edible. One meal ruined and im paying for this privilege.So my meal the special rice was cooked from scratch but smelled funny and was not something i wanted to eat.Ok lets go to my chicken bhuna?Absolutely disgusting again i could bounce the chicken off the wall it was that over cooked i gave up chewing after 10 minutes and decided this was gonna make me ill.To sum it up i have paid for the squits in the morning and am paying for the privilege.Do yourselves a favour order from elsewhere.I wouldn't feed this to my dog.Cant complain on just eat so have wasted £26.

Worst meal I've ever ordered. Half of the meal was cold, my wife's korma was very pink and the lamb im my madras must have been off as it was completely inediable as it tasted like it had been marinated for a week in vinegar.I called the resturant and all they said was other people had ordered and they hadn't had any other complaints.They were blunt, indifferent and outright rude, clearly couldnt care less about the quality of the food they had served.I am increadibly dissipointed by both the food and service and we will not be ordering again and would warn others against it.Edit - this was after the food arrived 20 minuteds later that stated (total of 85 mins)

I don’t normally review places but after seeing some reviews I felt I would, I have ordered from Bombay lancer on several occasions and every time without fail it has to be one of the best curries i have had. To start with my food always turns up earlier than the stated time piping hot in plastic containers that never leak the bags are presentable and it even comes with a nice little towel to clean myself up with. This restaurant is working during lockdown putting themselves at risk and still can maintain their good standards. This is the best curry you will get at the beat price.
