Costa Coffee in Medway

Great coffee shop, friendly staff serving really tasty coffee and food.

Tried to order a coffee through just eat, Uber eats and the Costa app but was unable to because I wanted to pay in cash. The apps do not allow this option.I tried calling the Rainham store (my closest store) nobody answered the phone over the almost an hour I was trying.So I try calling this store. I was answered to my surprise but only to be met by what sounded like a prepubescent who was clueless as to how to even slightly care about helping the customer. He offered no sort of help or direction as to how I could go about ordering for delivery by cash he just kept repeating "it's out of my hands I'm afraid" I eventually hung up before he enfuriated me further! Complete joke! Train your staff on how to talk to Customers!!!

I always get the salted caramel frostino delivered and it should come like the picture shows but instead it always comes without the sprinkles shown, when i put a note on to not forget them they put them on, it's part of the drink so why do they need reminding, im autistic and find it difficult and upsetting to drink it without the sprinkles as its different

The new store is fantastic!So much seating and the whole space feels lighter & brighter.The coffee and the food were delicious as always, and the staff at this particular branch of Costa were wonderful.Well worth a visit.

This place is a joke... Always a long waiting time, staff obviously need better training. other Costas are far quicker. I feel like I have to wait an absolute age just to get a coffee. Also there isn't enough staff to keep the store tidy, the place was pretty empty yet the tables were a mess.... I mean, have some pride in the place!

Staff are run ragged, all of them doing their absolute best even when there's only one person working the 9am rush. Phenomenal coffee and service, the staff always happy to have a chat especially with regulars. I've never had a bad experience here that couldn't be explained by lack of assistance on the supplier's part or being short staffed (understandable in our current climate). The staff put up with the absolute most, not even from customers sometimes - Gills locals know about the vandalism rise - and they still manage to be able to do their most.Some people in the reviews don't understand that service workers are people too, you're not always going to manage a smile when you've been working a 6 hour shift with the lunch rushes with only two people on staff. The guys here have always been nothing but lovely to me, and I think people are just upset that some of them have a no-nonsense attitutde.

This store used to be a brilliant place to visit with nice staff and brilliant coffee. Nowadays tho this is much the polar opposite. They have had a huge staff turnover which has lowered the usual high standards with coffee of varying temperatures but it always a bad coffee, I find myself choosing to drive further afield for coffee rather than stop in my local Costa. Another issue that has surfaced with the staff changeover is the cleanliness of the shop, I would rather take my child to the public toilets across the road as they are cleaner.Until they train their staff to do things as they should be and as they used to be I will not be using them again, I would rather use their Twydall or Rainham shop.

Absolutely horrendous service half a cup of coffee told the cream pushes it down 🤥 two young workers both argumentative. Toilets were absolutely filthy wee all over the seat toilet roll all over the floor the floors were so slippy. Got people's orders wrong, people left because it was such a slow service. Tables were not cleaned. All in all an absolutely horrible experience. I normally love Costa and after feeling a bit sore from a hospital procedure was really looking forward to sitting down and having my favourite coffee but this store will never have me return.
