Consistently late on online orders and giving false stories for when it will arrive. Currently up to 2 hours for my order...still not arrived

Great fish and chips, speedy service

Georges seems to be moving in the wrong direction. The once brilliant Chippy no longer lives up to its former reputation. Last nights meal was an hour late and the fish was awful - mainly batter and dry.

Fresh and tasty fish, generous portions and reasonable pricing.

So, I use this chip shop regularly, always been my go to but today has let me down to the point I wouldn’t go there again. I got home to open my order and it was almost completely wrong. I phone up and sadly the manager wouldn’t speak to me, refused to compensate and wouldn’t do anything unless I drove up and swap the order and paid the difference!! Sorry but out of reputation I would swallowed the £3.50 and replace the whole order. Sadly this place delivers a service which matches how badly the chip shop looks. Won’t be using them again, avoid like the plague if you can as the service is terrible. Manager needs training in customer service 🤷.

Terrible food. Rude staff. Tried to fiddle me out of £2. Must be hard up. Never again and reading the reviews lots of others agree. Avoid like the plague.

Waited in the rain for 30 mins just for fish, chips and battered sausage, then when eventually got my order after asking them how long! the sausage was cold and fish was cold overcooked and dry worst fish I've even had eaten

Just went into here. My order came to 7 pound something and I wanted to pay by card. Due to Covid basically. They said no minimum ten pound spend on card. I said well how much does it costYou to use the card machine wouldn’t tell me. I then said ok I’ll order another item to bring the tallyUp to nearly nine pounds. They still wouldn’t have it. I said I thought businesses wanted to take every penny they could get at the moment. Obviously not. Nice food in there but won’t be going there again. The gist of it is. Nice food but obviously greedy people. I know places have rules regarding transactions but cmon..... I think whoever reads this will know exactly what I mean. My advice is if your going to spend money at least spend it at a place where the people are nice , smiley. And reasonable.

Fish and Chips ordered on line and collected in 20 minutes - was ready on time, just packing it up as I arrived, young girl friendly and food was delicious - no complaints.
