Kings Head Pub in Medway

Decent pub. Do miss the old pubs but the Kings Head do their business. Would defenietly recommend the summer. Good old boozer for our local community. Bit pricey but only because there’s no competition.

Had a really nice bar snack - ham and cheese baguette. Maybe a little more expensive than we were used to pre pandemic but it was big enough to be a full meal. Good helpings of tasty cheddar and ham with lots of chips and coleslaw.

Called in on a wim and was pleasantly surprised lovely pub. Food was excellent cooked to perfection and very generous portions. Will definitely be going back.

First time we’ve been to The Kings Head and a really good experience.The staff are lovely and friendly. The service and food were excellent. We had the Cowboy Chilli Con Carne (which was yum with some lovely meat in there) and the Kings Head Stack burger (which was a quality burger).Will be going back again soon.

Lovely local pub with a good friendly atmosphere. Allows dogs. Nice choice of drinks and food. Clean toilets and plenty of seating with Sports TV channels. Would come again.

Service was poor and our party would have enjoyed the atmosphere if there had been one. Perhaps the lack of customers is a reflection on the jacked up prices.

Lovely Roast half chicken dinner with roast potatoes, parsnip, stuffing, gravy, Yorkshire pudding, cabbage, broccoli, carrots and cauliflower cheese. I left full and satisfied. Staff very nice too and service good. Will come again :-)

As a family we have been to the Kings Head about 10 times before over a 7 year period but I have to say that the food has been just acceptable and adequate.We have primarily used it as a meeting point as it positioned between our friends home and ours and that makes it convenient rather than the go to place of choice.The King Head has a nice atmosphere and both the bar and restaurant staff have always been friendly and efficient.This most recent visit changed my opinion completely, fantastic quality food with exceptional service.This has to have been the best pub meal I have had anywhere to date.Price was spot on for both the high quality food and service with a smile.Not sure if it is under new management, however, I would respectfully suggest that you don't change anything because it was perfect.Well done and keep up the very high standard.

I went with my family because we saw it was local to us. as we had just moved in the area, and i have to say as a very picky eater it had some of the best food i had ever had!Also the food wait wasnt long at all and the waitresses and staff were very friendly, so was everyone else there.Atmosphere was good and the food was good aswell.

Very good 👍atmosphere 👌. A good gut feeling about the pub. I'd be comfortable to take a lady, or my grandsons there to eat. The staff were welcoming and helpful and polite. Highly recommended. Simple as that 👌.
