Food is pretty good here, been here for years worth a look

Had rather nice take away from here delivery was under 30 minutes and the food was tasty and reasonably priced

We’ve been buying our Chinese from here for years but towards the end of last year things went from bad to worse... food not cooked properly, missing or wrong! I did try giving some feedback to the fella that’s worked in there for as long as I’ve been using them and he said he will let the chef know.Things didn’t improve so we stopped using them!Tonight, for the first time in months we decided to give it a go again and unfortunately they’ve messed up again!!We had the food delivered; when I unpacked it I was so disappointed... Food was missing, some items we didn’t order and what I opened looked awful.I called the shop straight away and the young man who took the order answered the phone, I explained what had happened. I said how disappointed we was and to my surprise he said, oh, it’s changed management recently, that’s probably why!Without boring you with the next hour of my life... I eventually said, I’d had enough, I want my money back...They said I’d have to take the food back myself!I did and got a refund...it’s a real shame because this used to be a really good Chinese takeout... the quality of the food and cooking is unacceptable!Needless to say, we will not be using the Lucky Star again... if anyone has any suggestions on a good Chinese takeout... please let me know?

I usually have a lovely meal for here however ever since my wife began to breast my youngest son she havent been unable to eat onions because my son has an allergy, I made them aware that the meal couldn't have any onion in and yet my wife found onion in it.

Ordered from here all the time but it's really gone down hill their curry sauce is really hot and peppery it just spoils the rest of the meal come on lucky star sort your curry sauce out

We stopped using the lucky star when it went downhill about a year ago.But this evening we had a meal delivered and wish we didn’t bother,It’s not a patch on what it was and we WONT ! be using it again.

This place has really gone down hill, food all tasted so sweet and sickly and plastic containers were only half filled. Sadly will be the last time i use my local takeaway

Best Chinese I’ve had in strood since we moved here. It used to be the new cobam inn but it drastically went down hill. So we decided to try a few new ones and honestly the nicest place we’ve tried and price is ok. Lovely food. Only thing I would say is it’s jormally about 30 min for collection and 1 hour for take away and they only take cash which isn’t always ideal. So One less star for that... other than that, deffo think you should try it.

Always loved food from here. But last meal shocking curry sauce just Pepper NO FLAVOUR phoned next day to complain after using for years. Not interested so will NEVER use again
