Service wasn't great items forgot twice. Nacho Starter paid additional cost for upgrade pointless and then very expensive desert for what it was on a positive note the steak was cooked to perfection BUT no addional sauces condiments offered or asked if any more drinks needed. Restaurant not busy so no excuse.

Food was very nice, but the senior member of staff with the blonde hair was extremely loud. She stood by the hot counter and spoke so loudly to the other members of staff I couldn't hear what my girlfriend was saying to me. She then almost shouted across the restaurant to another member of staff. I felt very sorry for the other staff. It was not a nice experience and we won't be rushing back anytime soon.

Went here last night, for a few quiet drinks with my wife. Arrived just after 8, ordered our drinks and sat at a table. Within 20 minutes, the lovely atmosphere was totally ruined, by an extremely foul mouthed couple behind us. Every other word out of the woman's mouth, was either f@#* or c@#*. Obviously totally drunk, I reported it to 2 different bar staff and absolutely nothing was done about it. They simply carried on serving them more alcohol, which made the situation worse. We were not the only people annoyed by it and a table of 4, close to us, got up and left to go elsewhere.Disgusting customer service and we won't be returning.

My Fiance and i came here for a meal yesterday. We didnt have a booking but the gentleman who was front of house was welcoming and gave us a table no problem. The waiter we had was Joseph and he was very helpful and polite and nothing was too much trouble .The food was lovely and tasty. Im quite picky about cleanliness but it was clean and the cutlery was sparkling which is hard to find these days !

Service was really slow. Meals didn't all come out together , some of the party had eaten most of their meals as others got served . One of the steaks looked like roadkill . We got asked if we wanted desserts after half an hour no menu so we had to get the menu ourselves . One of the waiters kept chatting to a couple seated near us. I won't go back

Big Beefeater in Rainham. Visited a few times over last 20 years.Food is decent and all, but the loss of the steak platter and horn of plenty from the menu still hit hard.Good for larger parties.Burger with dipping gravy as well 😻

We went to Beefeater Rainham today for breakfast. Not impressed!! Found the waitress that greeted us very rude. It states that breakfast will be served till 11am, when we arrived at 10.35am, she was very quick to tell us we had 25 minutes. I asked, but we don’t have to be out by 11am, she said, well we have to lay up for lunch. We decided to stay as it had taken us 20 minutes to get there. But then I went to get a coffee another customer said the machine wasn’t working and we had to wait for a waitress to sort it out. Why standing waiting a waitress made a rude comment about another customer. My husband and son where waiting to order cooked breakfast to be told no hash browns or black pudding. We then decided by this point that actually, let’s go somewhere else, so we walked out.

Food was amazing, waitress was brilliant very attentive, couldn't fault the place apart from 1 thing. Turned up without a booking, the woman on Front desk was rude and abrupt, she should never be in that position as front of house, as we nearly left. No smile or manners n marched us to a table on top floor.

I went there for the Unlimited Breakfast and it was fabulous there was fresh chopped fruit, yoghurts, fruit juices, teas, coffee, cereal, toast, crumpets, croissants, spreads and more and of course the fabulous cooked breakfast which I might add was cooked to perfection, the staff were lovely and helpful and it was a lovely atmosphere and the restaurant is split on a couple of levels, the toilets were nice and clean too always a bonus, will definitely be going back, plus it made a nice Christmas treat as to the usual meals out in the evening, well worth going!

Only one thing upsetting me is if I go there and I see people ordering steaks "well-done".FABUABULOUS PLACE FOR BEAUTIFUL SUCCULENT STEAKS, serving 30-day aged prime meat (not cheap) and you are corrupting its tenderness by ordering "well-done"? Guys, I do understand that you may prefer meat to be cooked well but don't be foolish, don't eat steaks and go for Sunday roast then! Or try to go each time one level closer to "medium-rare" and one day you will find out what I am talking about.Oh, and try their Salt&Pepper Calamari with chilli or Surf&Turf Skewer as a starter off course, amazing. 👌Enjoy and eat steaks "medium-rare"!
