Mast & Rigging Chatham in Medway

Had a lovely meal out this evening with 6 other friends, they had staff down so was a bit of a wait but Oliver served us most of the night and had outstanding customer service and made everything asked for happen! He needs recognition he handled the ques and aggressive customers perfectly well! Made our night!

I have visited the mast and rigging on various occasions for the past year or two, mostly for after work drinks. I have to say that it hasn't always been the best experience for a night out.I often find the drinks I enjoy aren't available, given with the standard excuse of issues with the supplier (since when does Gordon's have a supply issue)Our of pure convenience of location, my colleagues and I have continued to drink here though.I never normally review pubs that I only drink in, however I felt I had to comment on the notable improvement on the service and if I'm honest, cleanliness of the pub.So much better, I am actually going to order food on my next visit. Keep it up please

The bar staff were very friendly, if a bit overworked, especially Jack or Jake, who went over and above. Food was good, portions weren't huge but food tasty, puddings were delicious. The play area is a good addition for the kids. Definitely go again!

Great pub just off A289. The staff are always friendly with a good selection of drinks. They are recently doing event nights such as quizzes, poker, bingo. They have a pizza oven on show which you know is fresh. Other pub foods are as standard. Good amount of car park spaces and a scenic pond just on the estate.

We love coming here, the food is good quality and generous portions. It's got a lovely atmosphere. We went there last Wednesday for dinner and a couple of drinks and was surprised to learn they do a quiz night on Wednesday nights, so we joined in, which was fun and was an added bonus to an already great experience. The manager is a really nice bloke who hosted the quiz but also made time to introduce himself and have a little chat with us at the end of the evening. Will definitely be going again.

Waited over an hour for a table we booked for Xmas dinner but that was fine as the atmosphere and the surroundings were good. Despite being woefully understaffed the few staff they had on were very friendly.Ordered a 3 course xmas dinner for 4 adults and a few nibbles such as pigs in blankets and cheesy potatoes beforehand which were already paid for online prior to our visit. Unfortunately we didn't get our nibbles but didn't complain cos i could see staff were under pressure. The actual meal was very very nice, just the right amount as well so no complaints there.Overall its a very nice establishment, the staff were friendly and the food was very good. Unfortunately I cant give it top marks because it was woefully understaffed and disorganised.

Been a fair few times, always a good experience. Friendly staff and good food.They have a pizza oven I would absolutely recommend getting a pizza. Otherwise there's a good chance you dinner will have come out of the microwave. Sadly they no longer do calzones, including the much coveted Rocky Road Calzone dessert but pretty much anything off the pizza menu is great.

Very impressed with this pub. Plenty of varied seating, and a good pub menu with plenty of options at very reasonable prices. Most of our party had the burgers and they were really good, came with chips (crispy on the outside and fluffy potato 😋). Would definitely visit again.

A nice pub with a nice outside seating area with a play area for children. We booked a table in advance and received a warm welcome at the door. We were quickly shown to our table. The menu had a good range of food. Good choice of drinks from the bar. The food was good and presented well. The staff were friendly but looked like they needed a few more hands on deck as it was very busy. Would visit again.

First time at this pub, really enjoyed it. Warm welcome, staff lovely and service great.Highly recommend the beef roast dinner, loads of meat and vegetables.My son had the cowboy burger which looked great.Will be returning
