Papas Super Fish Takeaway in Medway

Food was luke warm. After having fish and chips from here delivered home 3 times now we have only had them delivered hot once. Such a shame as I know they are normally gorgeous. Will be going to Ditton to eat in the future or in my car outside the Rochester shop.

I travel to this shop because I know the fish is always freshly fried and generous portions.

Absolutely discussed ordered fish and chips for my family off deliver roo and payed 28 pound to receive three pieces of fish no chips the manger offered no help was really rude and basically got told its your fault this used to be one of the best fish bar around but not now no customer service

After being let down by my regular chippy (closed, due to an oil leak - apparently)I Googled 'best fish and chip shops in Medway' and Papas popped up!I have to say, this place certainly lived up to the reputation. Delicious, fresh and hot food, coupled with super friendly staff! Well done to all. We will be back!

Excellent food, lovely crisp light batter, large portions happy helpful staff even though it was busy

The quality of the food is generally quite high, but sometime the chips and fish can taste better or worse.There is often a large queue, especially on Saturday's, and you can wait a long time. The phone orders are quite slow, sometimes even longer than the normal queue.

Went here for the first time last night waited 40 mins only to be told the quarter pound cheese burger I had order as well had been given to another customer and had to Wait a further 10 min for another one to be done when we got home and opened it up had no salad cheese was no existent very poor will not be visiting again

I visited here on a Tuesday evening and had cod and chips served in a box! Which is always a good sign...especially if your travelling a little way with your precious food 😁 no batter sticking to the paper. The cod tasted lovley, white flakey and moist. The batter was thin and crispy and I've got to say virtually no grease 👍🏼also a big thumbs up for the chips, its a lovley clean place with helpful friendly staff behind the counter, will definitely be going back here 🙂
