Peking Chef in Medway

The Peking Chef used to be our favourite Chinese take away but it has really gone down hill recently. The last few orders were quite bad, with the last order so disgusting we threw the whole order away. Such a shame...

Just moved into the area and after a couple of Facebook recommendations decided to order via their website. Surprisingly easy and thorough. I liked being about to order in advance and select a delivery time. However 2 comments I added to the order re sauce & where to deliver were ignore. Food was agreeable, fresh & hot. Chicken balls were excellent - crispy and not doughy. Very good portion sizes of noodles & rice. Satay chicken skewers were soft and flavourable, however we asked for no sauce and it was covered - a little spicy for our child hence why we wanted it plain. The rest of the meal was passable. Overall we would use again but might call the order through to ensure our small requests are taken into account.

Amazing food, very delicious

we purchased a mixed h'orderves today. so disappointed. the ribs had barely any meat on them, a horrible dry and tasteless chicken wings, samosas with a curry paste inside and one piece of prawn toast each along with a tiny pot of.sea weed. all this for 9 pounds. we have been regular customers for years but this is poor. I rang to explain my discontent but nothing was done so I explained that u would be leaving a review. for 9 pounds the lack of food and quality is very disappointing. the picture represents how much food one person would get as this is a meal for two. the seaweed and sauce are shared.

Ordered through just eat for the first time.Food arrived early which was fabulous as a friend was visiting and we'd ordered quite late and we were really hungry. It was hot and tasty and great portions.. Driver stood way back at the door which was great.Will definitely order from them again.3 very happy customers 🙂

Lovely food and fantastic service.We had a couple of errors with our order but the restaurant was SUPERB!Upon reporting the issues, they were very apologetic and sent out the replacement dishes swiftly.Would recommend this restaurant.

Not happy with it anymore no were near as good as it used to be with now being under new management it has gone right down hill chicken balls have more flavour but the chicken chow mein and duck chow mein the noodles were like mush the chicken was chewing aa for the duck chow mein. I rung up to complain after waiting an hour and a half for it to say about the noodles and they replaced the chicken chow mein and duck but to be totally honest was basically the same little better we used to order from here a lot used to be great it's a big shame but will not be ordering again unless they have drastic improvement.

I found this restaurant through JustEat when my girlfriend and I were searching for a Chinese shop that was open during all of this ‘lockdown’. Treating ourselves we order the special chow main, mushroom rice, pork balls, and a few other things and oh boy is this the tastiest Chinese we’ve have for a loooong time.Everything tastes fresh, no grease or (heaven forbid) ‘microwaved’ tang. Noodles were spot on and delicious! Clean plates all round and now it’s become a weekly occurrence with the family.Only criticism is that they don’t deliver to Gillingham but honestly the drive is worth the delicious tasting meal that you’ll get!
