Starbucks - Chatham Quay in Medway

Really poor experience. There were 4 members of staff behind the counter, but they needed almost 5 minutes to notice me. That would make easier to understand the young man if he could remove his hand from his mouth. And would be more hygienic. I saw rubbish on the tables and on the floor. At least the coffee was hot and strong, so it is better than one star. But this is not enough to come back again.

Awful. Been there this morning. Woefully understaffed but the wait wouldn't have been so bad if it hadn't been for the fact that while we were there waiting for an unsatisfactory ammount of time. We were observing, the boy on the till was constantly wiping his nose with his hands and then handling customers cups and food. He was sneezing over everything and when challenged he said he had hay fever. He also told us to go away. So why was he not wearing a mask. Using a tissue or washing his hands/wearing gloves. Disgraceful.

I've been in here a lot. Not always fantastic but ok. But today was just awful. The place was dirty, food crumbs everywhere, flies, tables not cleaned away, some nasty stain on the sofa by the toilet! Again only take away cups were available! Wasn't overly busy 3 staff serving really didn't 3 serving! Place needs a good scrub down!

One critisism like many chains is too much talking behind the counter and not enough table cleaning. Quick service and nice new strawberry coconut cooler.

Asked for a tea and a coffee both were pretty awful I took my tea back and a second attempt was even worse I was actually given a cup of hot water and a teabag. I explained again how I would like my tea made and was given a look and then another member of staff was given the same look of disgust re my request!I got angrier as I sat in there and so on the way out I explained that I hadn't appreciated the way I had been treated including the looks and I was a paying customer and liked my tea a certain way. Her response was one of embarrassment and she said that she completely agreed and for that she apologised. I nodded my appreciation and left.Apparently I have to leave a star review but it wasn't worth even 1 star but that is what I will give through necessity!!!We will not be going back!

Absolutely poor service and product today. We didn’t have a complex order yet the staff messed it up and took nearly an hour to prepare our drinks. Twice they had to remake one of the drinks with the incorrect milk used. And the store wasn’t even that busy when we walked in.Others have said the same but I truly believe that staff training needs to be improved at this branch. The only reason for the single star is because Google does not give the option for zero stars.

Slow service, coffees luke warm. Burnt friends panini & had to wait ages for a redo which meant her standing at counter for ages whilst the rest of us were at table. Price charges expensive enough but with shoddy goods & service. Not impressed....

The staff are great but it's ridiculous to have them preparing Uber orders at the same time as in store customers with no extra staff or equipment. It leads to crazy long waits for a in-store customer while someone bulk orders for delivery and you end up waiting 20 minutes for a drink.Starbucks fault, not the staff, but the in-store customer loses out.

Always love a starbucks definitely need more around the medway towns and a drive thru would be amazing. But this branch has really friendly staff, and always seem busy, I definitely do enjoy popping in and grabbing a coffee from here.

Great service, excellent food and drinks.The staff were extremely busy today, I think they were understaffed, but they kept their cool and did their best. The staff were always being professional.
