Taj Cuisine in Medway

Very tasty food. Really accommodating staff. I would recommend! It's bring your alcohol if you want a drink with your dinner which actually reduces the bill too. If you haven't tried it you're missing out

A very special treat Food quality and service both outstanding

One of the staff members was very rude and did like we were an inconvenience being there, very rude and unprofessional. Waiting time for the food was unnecessarily long. Food was average, for that price. Do not recommend yikes. The next day had to vomit and had diarrhoea… says enough. I do not recommend coming here unless you’re boring and basic.

Lovely lunch even though we were the only one eating in we didn't feel rushed at all. 5 stars and will always go back!

We had a takeaway from here tonight and it was very underwhelming but with some standout dishes. The Kathmandu lamb is great, but the Taj special curry was flavourless and boring and the zinga golda was quite strange and also flavourless so it was let down at almost £18!!! The butter chicken was nice but the lamb Rogan Josh was underwhelming. I expected a lot more as we've had good meals at the restaurant before. The takeaway also came later than the slot I booked it for and they never got back to my voicemail about a query with my order. Quite disappointing all in all.

The food here is excellent. Always is The service though used to be more welcoming than it is now. The staff seem jaded.. Such a shame.

This is my first time here, and the food wasn’t great, I had chicken biriani and Bombay pots, the dishes had excessive oil and was so bland, no real flavour and biriani was like a blended soup, very poor. I have had better from the supermarket. The restaurant looks very nice but the takeaway was terrible.

Here we go. Don’t let its humble, tucked away location put you off. Taj Cuisine does not follow the “all trousers and no pants” precedent of many Indian restaurants. This is the real deal. The accolades that litter its walls aren’t there by accident.Service is accurate, attentive and perceptive. The owner made me feel welcomed and ensured my needs were met by checking in throughout the course of my visit.Surroundings are comfortable and very much like that of regular Indian restaurants. What is different is the dishes. They are exciting, dramatic, looking and tasting absolutely beautiful. My main course was edging towards fine dining given its presentation and quality.This is one of the best Indian restaurants in Kent, class in a Chatham retail estate glass.
