Always a nice breakfast. No frills, no pretending etc. Friendly staff. Good grub. Not expensive and local.

The Avenue Cafe is without doubt the best cafe in the area. The team make you feel really welcome, the food is great and the food is cooked speedily and to high quality. I’d highly recommend their MIDI Breakfast, however all their food is lovely. They are happy to make substitutions if you can’t eat certain foods, and the quality of the food is excellent. Prices are really reasonable too!Keep up the great work, you are smashing it!

Me and my other half are working night so after work we thought it wood be nice having breakfast on the way home. We stopped at this cafe, the shutters were half way up, on the website and the door said it open since 8 o’clock in the morning. It was already 5 past 8, someone shut the shutters on us, with us waiting in front of the caffe. Verry rude and disrespectful.

Nice little cafe with plenty of free parking outside. Staff were friendly. The portion size was smaller than expected for the price, however, it was nice food and I enjoyed it all. I will be returning for another visit in the near future.
