Delivery was 3hrs late, food was cold & charged twice wich took over a week to get 1 refund Not even an apology!

Absolutely the best meal I have ever had

Absolute delight.Food was incredible. Everything cooked to perfection. Seasoned well, beautifully cooked and presented well. The temperature was piping hot. Draught beer always a welcome bonus.The restaurant itself was cosy, intimate and spotless. Not your usual Asian dine in decor; definitely a more bistro feel.Friendly, apologetic welcome as we were the only ones on a Saturday evening. (They were rushed off their feet with takeaway though as there was a big football match on).Apparently Covid has stopped people going out - and I'd agree as we left looking in other places they were quiet too.

. What to say. 16 quid for a 7 prawns and some flavourless sauce. Total order 42 pounds for 2 meals. Dissapointing and won't be re ordering from here.

We ordered 2 meals at 5:10 and our order didn't arrive until 6:35 over 40 minutes late. I called the restaurant at 15 minutes late and was just told there were "lots of orders in that area" that many on a Tuesday night to make my order over 40 minutes late? No apology from the delivery person or restaurant. The food was nearly cold and after several different bites of chicken in my curry , they were all brown gristly chunks so I left that and started on my rice and found a long black hair so didn't eat that either. Such a disappointment after such a long wait. Won't order again .

Delivery- such lovely food from Bengal as always! Such a shame the restaurant is not open to sit down in at the moment but you can still get the amazing food delivered to your door! Delivery was quick and the food lovely and hot and it never disappoints! I really recommend ordering from this restaurant!

We always use this restaurant as our go to Indian, the food is always outstanding and delicious and fullOf flavour. Usually I go and eat in but due to the current pandemic I ordered for delivery and it came in quickTime and was piping hot. The staff who delivered the food was really friendly , I might just have to get the food delivered from the restaurant regularly. Im a very fussy eater and I asked them to make the food to my liking and they did it with no fuss, it’s definitely the best curry I have ever tasted. The portions may not be the biggest but the quality of the food definitely makes up for it compared to other places I have tried with huge portions but poor quality of food.Also just a quick thank you for them still staying open and doing deliveries in the current situation. They are risking their healths and doing a fantastic job.

I visited on the off chance last night and Mr Ali and everyone at Bengal Brasserie made my evening. The food was as delicious as I remember visiting here in the past and very much wanted to share my experience and to highly recommend anyone who enjoys the finest Indian cuisine to please come and enjoy the experience here. It brings back alot of good memories here to me and how much I enjoy being in real Indian restaurants and soaking up not only the culture and great food but reminding me how restaurants used to be and can still be with the right management and local community support and thinking. At 25 years old it shows how great Bengal Brasserie is. Give these lovely folks a visit you won't be disappointed here.

Food and plates just dumped in middle of table. After good reviews extremely disappointing. Will not be returning. Put In a room on our own which feels like a storeroom. Will not be returning. Decor in need of repair. And to top it all the manager would not have the courtesy to come to our table and left it to the waiter to deal with. Poor is an understatement.

I usually order delivery from Bengal brasserie in Rochester but had a family member birthday on Sunday so decided to book up 15 family and friends to eat in there restaurant fanatic service from the staff friendly recommended some great dishes to try the food is always great!! We all had starters main and deserts Food came out quick and it was busy in there. Sunday the lamb was very tender and very tasty and the chicken was delicious!!!!!!! The salad was fresh and I had a lovely mince sauce they have a great selection of great Indian food 5 stars food and service. I'm a regular customer and will keep going back to Bengal brasserie.Just a thank you to Ali and his team
