Best carvery/roast lunch we've had out for a very long time. Truly tasted like home cooking. Excellent value. It was deservedly busy on a sunny Sunday lunchtime, and service was rather slow. Can forgive that for the satisfying meal!

Lovely terrace on the river with a view of the bridge. Great steak sandwich for lunch. Beer ( Harvey's) just about OK but some considerable way short of what Harvey's best should be.

Disappointing evening with friends. Several menu dishes were not available (at 7 on a Saturday evening!), the meals were poorly presented and served on cold plates. Fingerbowls and a spare bowl would have been useful to accompany seafood & mussels, but were provided on request. The best bit was the management response at the time, so hopefully our comments will be taken on board.

Took 30 mins for us to order a drink - staff never apologised and were quite rude from the moment we arrived. It was like we were invisible. The food was decent but overall atmosphere is loud and unpleasant - really wish they would change the music in there now as well, I don't feel like being reminded of a year 6 disco when I'm trying to eat. Would not recommend 👎

Great pub to come with friends or family. Spacious restaurant area with the alternative of sitting outside overlooking the River. Historic building with lots of character. Could be better maintained in places and could be kept cleaner. Really helpful staff and very tasty food. Would definitely recommend. Came here today for the Alesford Festival. Looking forward to next year's one! 🍻

This place has a really nice outdoor area overlooking the river and a beautiful bridge. I didn’t really like the inside, it seemed really tiny. Staff members were really friendly and helpful, and the breakfast food was delicious! The hot drinks were average, this can be improved!

Lovely place Fab tasty Pizza very friendly staff. The Pub is in the lovely village of Aylesford. During Lockdown This pub did so much for the local community, we will be going back there again possibly this week

Absolutely disgusting. Spent £30 on a roast dinner delivery for 2, everything turned up looking anaemic. My partner went for roast chicken and I had the nut roast. I have no idea what arrived, because it was not a nut roast. Literally looked like a slab of dog food. The chicken looked barely cooked and the pigs in blankets looked raw - the pictures don't even do it justice...Everything went in the bin. I Contacted them with pictures to provide an opportunity for them to resolve the situation and they're ignoring my messages. Such a shame because I have heard good things about them. Awful for the price, avoid!

Lovely place with indoor and outdoor seating. The staff were all very nice and professional. Food was very good. Doesn't matter if it took ages, we just ordered extra drinks and chill by the river.

Enjoyed a 3 course meal out with my husband last night in what seemed an age since we were able to do that. Food was delicious, well presented, there was a lovely atmosphere and enjoyed sitting outside overlooking the river on a beautiful sunny day 👍🏻
