·

By far the best pub in Rochester. Lovely decor and friendly bar staff. Good selection of real ales.

·

Popped in for a quick pint. Wish I had more time as it was a very friendly and welcoming pub. Sat in the bit of April evening sun that was left in the beer garden and it was very peaceful

·

Lovely pub. Visited sunday evening and were greeted with " anyone like some roast spuds and gravy? " which we accepted gratefully. Always loved the atmosphere and choice of drinks. Recommended

·

Great experience at this pub, the customer services is simply excellent. The Sunday roast portion was a little on the small side and the nut roast tasted more like sage and onion stuffing!I enjoyed the salted caramel cheesecake but was a little disappointed to hear that it was pre made (bought it) whoever made it did a good job though

·

Nice small traditional pub, looked like good Sunday lunches. Not really a place for a walk group to go just for a drink, as I recently found out, as there is not enough room.

·

A proper English pub. Deducted staff. Spotlessly clean. Lovely food and excellent real ales. Worth booking a table to ensure you get a seat. It has two bars, in a very old building. Drinkers under 21 are not permitted.

·

Quirky charismatic pub with good selection of beers. Can get very busy so can be left outside and toilets are pretty basic, but we’ll worth a stop if you can get in

·

Great little pub, cozy and warm. Front room is small and intimate, back room is bigger but brighter, so not the same vibe. Always crowded so bit tables can be reserved with a phone call. Cask ales, full bar very friendly staff.

·

A great Pub with history and character! Very friendly staff and landlord. Food was excellent too I would highly recommend.

Oldest pub in the Southeast. The beers were great and hlthe Sunday roast very good! (Book in advance). The staff was friendly and overall a great place to go to when visiting Rochester.
