Bright and airy. A warm and friendly welcome from the lady 'behind the jump'. Nice seat overlooking the River... Very agreeable indeed.

Called in for a drink having visited the Sweeps Festival. The last time we attended The Crown it was in private ownership, it was then kept in good order, well maintained, fresh and clean. Since then it's been taken over by one of Kents largest pub management and brewery companies. We found the general upkeep and standard of the venue had decreased in particular our table felt sticky to the touch and our drinks attracted little midges/flies, a sure sign of poor table clearing and cleaning standards. Disappointing but not surprised.

I visited the Crown on the evening of Tuesday 10th May.Great customer service, always happy to accommodate special requests on food when possible. Will certainly return when ever I am back in Rochester.Well done staff

Had our wedding reception in the sport bar upstairs. The staff were all so friendly and couldn't do enough for us or our guests. The food was amazing. Would 100% recommend this as a party venue and also just a wonderful place for food and drink.

Ambience good. Good Sunday roast, plenty of vegetables available, food served hot. Only downfall was dinner served on cold plates. Friendly, helpful staff members. Definitely would revisit.

Our favourite pub in Rochester for drinks. Cozy environment and friendly staff. Menu looks good with Veggie and Vegan options, but we did not order food.

Great friendly staff.However; they took my order wrong which was fine they did offer me a replacement but I declined. Food was pretty cold on arrival but there was a big group of us.Atmosphere was good, great they served hot chocolate in the evenings.Wouldn't recommend a meal there but recommend a drink and a pub snack 😊😊Staff again 10/10 great service.

Popped in for a quick drink before heading to another venue for dinner, service here was fast and efficient, the pub was nice and clean and the staff friendly. I had a Spitfire Lager, which was a lovely pale lager that tasted great. I actually popped in here specifically because of a family connection to the place dating back many years, that recently came up in conversation and led me to decide I definitely had to come and have a pint. I shall definitely return for a longer visit, and perhaps some food next time.
