"Nestled in the heart of the community, catch up over an expertly kept pint of cask ale, a G&T or a glass of Prosecco. If you’re feeling peckish tuck into a pizza, a fajita or one of our hearty pub classics, cooked with care. With a warm welcome and something always going on, we’re proud to be part of the fabric of the local area."

Food is nothing too special but affordable and at the door step ! Appreciate the change of menu with some different dishes standing out of the usual pub-food.Drinks are more or less the average! Overall decent quick bite food at reasonable price! Recently thought, what makes the difference is Chris! We have been served by him a few times now! Extremely polite and respectful, professional but friendly, very helpful and more so he goes over and beyond to give you a good service!Even if you are in a “neighbourhood pub”, being served by Chris it feels that you are somewhere special !Well done Chris for making a chain pub to have this “signature” feel!

This place is astonishing. My mum ordered Mussels with skin on fries and she loved it. My dad had a Katsu Chicken Curry and LOVED IT. I had a burger with lettuce and it was amazing 🤩. Chris (the waiter) was so nice, friendly, very helpful and deserves to be mentioned a lot more.

Decor nice although was not overly impressed with spider webs on the wall lights. However, toilets were very clean. Meals were sufficient but nothing to rave about, unfortunately won't be returning 🤔

Warm, friendly atmosphere, serving staff attentive. Meal was very tasty, good selection of drinks. Has improved since I last went there before lock down.

We went here for a lovely Sunday roast, it was dished up warm not steaming, and gravy in separate boat, there was plenty to eat and looked good.Service not bad then. For dessert we had apple and blackberry crumble and custard, well we couldn’t touch the crumble because it was frozen and the custard was warm.I called the waitress over who apologised and took them away, we waited another 10 minutes then the crumbles and fresh custard turned up.the waitress apologised. It did taste delicious. On reflection the place was clean tidy, the staff not bad but l don’t think we will be going back.Very dissapointed for first time visit which we where really looking forward too .

Thought we would try as a green king. And have known for a long time but won't be hurrying back. Most of the menu missing with some not told till my meal turned up!Partners waffle for pudding turned up still frozen despite being a waffle. And when commented by two staff members on how it was still frozen no further rectification was made.Overall customer service was pour considering the few people in there and the proximity to the till..Sadly won't be back, and disappointed considering the overall good name.
