My wife and I had breakfast this morning at the Bistrant, we haven’t visited Elm Court now for a few years. We were seated promptly, staff were very attentive, food and drinks were delivered to our table quickly, everything was hot and tasty. Super customer experience and good value, great way to start my Saturday thanks!

Booked a Mother's day Afternoon tea on Sunday for myself, my mother and daughters. The food was so lovely and very well presented, we did have a little delay in getting it however it meant that I got to have a family conversation which I don't normally get to do. The staff and the manager were so pleasant and friendly. Thank you for making our mothers day.

Very poor. I am a regular customer and today being mothers day meant as I hadn't booked I could not get a place. I felt discrimination as my mother is no longer here. Surely a few tables could stay free for other customers. A big thank you to Bronwyn and the lovely lady on the till for being as always so kind.

Went to elm Court the first time in years! Was well impressed with everything there, everything is well spread out inside as was the outside garden area. fabulous array of pots which we went for and bought. Staff in the restaurant were very helpful and friendly table service much better than queueing. Staff at the tills were very helpful with advising us on soil for our plants. Will definately go back.

Not happy. Tried to book a table over the phone. I was told no need to book. Just turn up. Found tables were marked reserve and they have to be booked 24hrs in advance. A shame that wasn't o your FB site.Ordered coffees to fill in while we waited. However they came at the same time as the meal and we had waited quite a while. We all ordered fish and chips. This was certainly not up to the standard we had a while ago. Fish was dry in a crisp but oily batter with chips which were far from crisp. To say I was disappointed is an understatement as I had told my guests it was a good place to eat.It was clean and sanitised , but it's a pity the food wasn't of the same high standard.I don't think I will ever have more than a coffee in future.

I came to the garden centre and to get my car washed and thought it would be a nice treat for my children to take them to the restaurant. When we arrived my daughter desperately wanted to use the toilet, so I rushed off to attend to her. While I was gone my 14 year old was seated. When I arrived back I was told that that the kitchen was only serving hot drinks and cake. We ordered and paid, then immediately the waiter told us that the centre was closing in 9 mins at 4:30pm, so we could have our order in take away containers. I was shocked at the service I received and it took a while to contemplate what had happened. When the drinks and cakes arrived I mention that I was disappointed that I wasn’t told about the closing time before I ordered but no one seemed to care.I am very dissatisfied with the level of service provided and it absolutely spoilt the treat I had planned for my children. On top of it I was charged £21.61 after a loyalty discount (not sure if I can be loyal anymore) which I felt was massively overcharged considering I didn’t even get the service of being able to enjoy to food on the premises, most of all aside from the money, I have been left feeling like I might never go to the restaurant again as this is the third time I have received less than satisfactory customer service and this treatment feels like the final straw!

Came here at Christmas and thought it had great service, friendly staff etc. And thought we would probably come here regularly. However today I came with my son to have a snack and drink and asked for a booth. The host was reluctant to let us but agreed even though there were only 4 tables in use. Then despite there being very few customers we still had to call the host over to get our order taken after 10 mins of waiting. I ordered a BLT which came with literally 4-5 cm square pieces of lettuce and a tiny strip of tomato. I asked the lady who brought it if I could have some L&T with my B and she obliged but when she returned commented that it had been in 'no way intentional'. Are the kitchen making things accidentally or just not looking at what they're doing? There were almost more staff than customers, how could I not have been served in a decent time and made a simple classic sandwich properly.Gutted, as now I don't want to go back. Previously felt like a decent family run cafe with real customer care(rare thing in England these days), but today it felt like a load of indifferent amateurs.

Went into the cafe for the first time. Excellent customer service there, giving a high seat without any problems. Meal came quickly and child portion just right and my toastie was hot with lots of filling. Would definitely recommend this cafe.

Excellent garden centre with huge selection of plants, finally found pink lemonade blueberry bush! The cafe is good, staff are lovely and food was really nice. Served quickly! Would recommend this garden centre and their cafe 😀

Good selection of plants, numerous garden objects and essentials, you , fresh foods, frozen foods, a nice atmosphere, great staff. First visit was good. Place was also very clean for a garden centre. Could do a little more to encourage social distancing in-store, more signs for mask and distance required.
