Great view. Nice place. Good job on the outdoor areas, glass windbreaks allow you a cozy place out of the wind but still with a view of the castle.

Great atmosphere! We visited in the evening and was served at the bar quickly. The live band was great and we all had a dance. It can get quite hot with the amount of people dancing on the dance floor so there's an outside area where you can sit and cool down and heaters if needed! Great night out!

Food is blooming amazing ..cooked fresh and well worth the money (scampi is beyond this world) ..staff age friendly..even if u scare the bejeezus out of then with a birthday party popper ....I seriously recommend here xxx

They have decent live music on a Saturday. It's more the older middle aged crowd. My friend got groped which was not great.

Popped in for drink before going to have a meal. It's very clean and friendly. The staff was polite and courteous. When in Rochester we always pop in here

One of the Greene King pubs. Usual pub food and they taste ok. Very reason priced drinks and food if you are after the quick food and drinks .Friendly staff. A couple of customers sitting next to us swore a lot but apart from that all fine. They play sports in the pub. Free 2 hours parking nearby.

Went in for a drink and decided to eat too. Food was delicious. Was shocked by the portion size. That big I couldn't eat all of mine. Hubby loved his combo platter. The staff are lovely and very friendly. The pub is spacious and warm. Thank you

Lovely afternoon here today, carvery was great plenty of food would recommend, 12, 2 or 4pm sittings. Great service from staff everyone works hard. Lovely setting in the garden, great castle and cathedral views

Popped in 15.30 today with SIS and B-in-L, were made welcome in a lovely pub including sparkling toilet facilities. The two young ladies were extremely polite and enjoyed a brief chat. Totally relaxed atmosphere and lovely service of the lunch we ordered. Food outstanding I surprised myself by eating all that was put in front of me. Lovely outdoor eating area overlooking the Castle. Say no more, will tell my friends when I get back to Stoke Newington to pop in. Put this pub on your list

Came in for a hot lunch and some drinks, the staff were friendly and helpful, food was great although I’d recommend checking the portion sizes as we had enough to feed ourselves twice over! Food was delicious and they had some afternoon entertainment outside which was nice. If I had any recommendations it would be to offer a few more toppings on the burgers like pickles or jalapeños but that’s just a suggestion.
