Alan's Fish Bar in Mid Sussex

£22 (?) Don't make them rich anymore - enough ppl on hand to mouth in Poplar............does this look like fresh fish to you for £8

Must admit the doner and wings were just two good 3times I’ve been there the taste was consistent so Yh definitely would recommend it

When I entered the shop There was a fella in there complaining that the chips were old and not fresh, Wish I listened... They were old, cold, and hard, and its not the first time. I just paid nearly 14 quid for a cold half cooked donner kebab and a chicken burger made from processed chicken ( NOT FILLIT BREAST) with inedible chips. How they can charge these prices for food that isn't even fresh I will never know.Never again!

Got a savaloy from here whilst pregnant as I was craving it and ended up in hospital with serious food poisoning... hopefully environmental health takes my complaint serious as this could have caused serious harm to my unborn baby.. food poisoning in pregnancy is dangerous the staff really need training on how to prepare cook food properly.

Over £18 for 2 cod and chips the chips were greasy &the cod soggy I used to love this place but recently it's gone down hill &over priced

If you wait a really friendly family take away, and one that does amazing fish and chips, Alan's Fish Bar is definitely the place! Always a smile, always helpful, and always a really great quality product. Proper chips, cooked and served to perfection.... getting harder to find these days but Alan's keeps them coming. And the fish is fresh and never too much better, just right!! A real favourite with us locals! The attached photo is the small cod and chips... I can't even finish it by myself and have half the next day for lunch 😊

Had a chicken kebab a few months ago.was not cooked properly. Try the fish chips tonight nothing great. Chips tasted bad cheap oil or sunflower oil .nothing great won't be use it again.

One of the best Turkish chicken chips shops in tower Hamlets.It's within my top 10 places for fast food.But the portions are too less and they charge a lot for sauces.

Seriously tasty fish and chips. Top tip is to order haddock as they cook it fresh. Battered sausage and mushy peas top notch too. Fresh chips - a really solid chippy
