Anise Restaurant in Mid Sussex

The staff was lovely and very accommodating. The Groupon deal was an added bonus too. Very clean place with tasty food that does not taste like a rushed curry like other places I have dined at.

Great Food & above and beyond service when I (foolishly) parked on the ice rink of a car park.!! The 3 members of staff that came out & spent a good 25 mins to get me off that Icy hill I cannot thank enough. Food excellent as usual & still warm despite the delay

Delicious, home-cooked food. The service is fantastic and dishes are well presented. The restaurant has recently been revamped, making it a comforting, family-friendly atmosphere.

After very long long i had the best curry and briany from anise indian restaurant. Thanks to the chef and all the staff or quality service. See you guys soon. :)

Drove 45 Minutes for the sunday buffet, as on pictures it shows a lot of items even on menu says 20 various items, i counted 6 to 8 items. For £13.95 for 6 to 8 items not worth it, ended up leaving as none of us was satisfied with the lack of items and choices. Please sort out your buffet like it used to be from the pictures with many items that is the whole point of a buffet. For that price i can go nawaabs and get over 30-40 items compared to the 6 to 8 items you had

We always order from Anise we really enjoy fresh food and ingredients. I don’t mean this to sound condescending to culture but this is the only Indian/eastern restaurant local to us where the unpopular vegetarian dishes still arrive with all ingredients fresh full of fresh spices as well. It’s so nice to find Cardamom, fennel seed & curry leaves sat proud in the dishes where other restaurants skimp and lack. It feels home made. Not only that but we order every month or so and they posted a get well soon message and something extra in our order due to us having to self isolate. Thanks so much guys keep doing what you do so well x

Fantastic meal, called ahead as no obvious vegan dishes for my partner but the chap was incredibly helpful and recommended best options (she had the vegetarian dhansak which was excellent). Order was here in no time at all and can honestly say it was the best Indian I've had in a long time. Very good price for the quality of food and service.

Ordered at 6.30 on under eats rang at 8.30 to say this order has not been received, he assured it was on its way right now with a driver. Waited 40 more minutes and was told the same thing.They said we couldn't cancel after waiting 3 hours from our initial order. Feel assured I will never order from here again. Amazing customer service and a lying business.

This place is amazing!! I will highly recommend this place to anyone. I am such a fussy eater but the best curry I had in ages. I actually finished my food. I would definitely come back to this place!!! The staff are so warm and welcoming. They made sure we was comfortable and looked after!! The waiter was absolutely welcoming and so professional. He recommended us a curry which was delicious so we wasn’t disappointed. The presentation was just wow!! Am not even joking your missing out of you haven’t tried! Thank you so much to the staff and the excellent food!! Top place!!!! From all my friends!! Thank you once again for having us! We will return again!
