Lovely staff serving great food in a cosy atmosphere

Enjoyed a lovely family lunch here today. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. Very good for our difficult needs, including one coeliac, two vegetarians, and one vegan! Will definitely go again.

Lovely cafe in Hassocks serving good quality food and coffee. Sadly, they only have dairy, oat and soya milk so my wife was unable to have a latte coffee. She is only able to drink coconut or almond milk which most smaller cafés are failing to provide these days which is a real shame as we can always get coconut and almond at Costa and Café Nero so that's where we end up going! The staff here are all very friendly and welcoming and have good customer service skills. There is a nice little seating area outside from where you can watch the world of Hassocks go by. Overall, happy to recommend.

Each time I come to Hassocks I always make a point to have lunch at Bella and Meg's. I love the food and the ambiance. The weather permitted we can also eat outside.Don't expect 5stars palace food but proper home made family good comfy food. Although i found that on this year menu there was less homemade cooking dishes and more sandwiches choices.... But the red curry was beautiful.

We were driving and wanted a coffee/water when we spotted Bella & Megs on entering we’re greeted placed my order with the lady for a latte and a bottle of water could see the lady sanitise a tray she placed the bottle of water on the tray. The coffee was made and placed on the tray she had also placed the lid for the coffee with tongs. Very impressed with the Covid operation and the coffee was very good too.

Eggcellent attention to detail. They’re open doing takeaway in lockdown and I stopped by for an fried egg sandwich. Presentation and service were both excellent. The eggs were perfectly cooked and carefully placed so that the two yolks sat either side of slice line in the sandwich, and I could enjoy the yolky goodness evenly in both sandwich slices.
