Good food, fair price, service good. Located on busy high street, give plenty of time to look for parking. There is car park back of venue but is small and we were lucky and got last space.

Cannot fault the friendly staff. Sadly everything else let the place down. Easy check in at the desk but why when I went to check in on line did they require my driving license or passport details. Our room was reasonably ok but the bathroom was very tired with nowhere to put anything. There was nothing in our room regarding a welcome with info about the bent arms, the area or wi fi details. Breakfast was well cooked but we weren’t really offered a choice. We hardly ever have a cooked breakfast so it was fine but we didn’t know what we were getting until it arrived. No choice for eggs. I was hoping to have a quick word with a member of staff a check out and, as pleasant as the young lady was, she spent all of 5 seconds with us and didn’t bother to ask us if our stay had been ok. Very disappointing, thank goodness the staff were good.

Beautiful establishment, with amazing attention to detail. The food was outstanding and they went out of their way to accommodate all the different dietary issues in our party of ten.The only disappointment is that I live so far awayThank you to all involved in making our first family reunion in 3 years so lovely

Where to begin? I arrived early, exhausted after a gruelling drive, and just thought I'd sit and drink coffee till the room was ready. But the lovely girls on reception said the room was ready so just go ahead and use it. When your burned out from crawling along the M25 little kindnesses like that mean a lot.I ate dinner there both nights. The beef medallions were beautifully cooked and tender. The portions generous. The veg crisp and fresh. All in all it was proper pub grub. Tasty. Filling. And not too fussy. Lovely homemade bread.

Lovely country town pub, restaurant, hotel. We had a small wake in the function room upstairs with refreshments. These included an outstanding selection of sandwiches and rolls, made with their own breads, followed by fresh scones, jam & cream. A great indication that its worthwhile coming again for a meal.Car park was rammed, in line with it being busy inside, so be prepared to find other parking.

Had a lovely lunch with friends and my 10 month old son. The staff were just so lovely and personable. The food was great and so flavourful. Just proper “pub grub” done well.

The South East Centre of the MG Car Club held their AGM in the large upstairs meeting room at the Bent Arms on 28th November 2021. The room was a good size with plenty of chairs. Bent Arms staff were really helpful and attentive providing excellent refreshments at precisely the right time. The Sunday lunch afterwards was five star. Excellent service, good choice of food and great value. We all thoroughly recommend this pub and look forward to coming back soon.

What a great find. I had not been here for decades. In those days it was poor now its very good whilst still maintaining old world charm. The food was very good and the service was outstanding.Negative comments, while the fish was excellent it was a very small fillet. Also the Creme Brulie was over cooked and had 'split'However I will definitely be back.

Good pub with decent service and a fairly large selection of draught pints. Food is also good sandwiches etc available at certain times of day. Recommended as a typical good local pub

I haven't been to a pub since the lift of lockdown. So, this was a nice experience once again. Its an older style pub with a good selection of ales, lagers, cider, wines and spirits along with the usual soft drinks. It was very busy. Being in Lindfield it's mainly frequented by locals. (We're near Brighton).Plenty of parking available for customers at the bottom of the beer garden accessed at the rear just off the High Street. Most of the tables seemed to be reserved. Therefore, it's probably best to book if you want to eat.Great food and reasonable prices. However, beer prices seem to have increased a lot since I last drank 'out'. It felt like I was drinking in London again. (I'd hate to think how much I would have to pay there now!)After we had ordered, some complimentary little homemade rolls of various flavours was delivered to our table with a supply of proper butter. Everyone was really nice.I had the burger and chips which was very filling. It comes in a brioche style bun. The extras were included in the price (cheese and proper thick piece of bacon). The bun so big, I had to cut it in half to be able to eat it.My wife had the fish and chips. The fish was huge! Lovely crispy batter as it should be.The chips were nice and chunky. Twice cooked and crunchy on the outside. Fluffy on the inside. There were plenty on the plates too.Unusually I was full from my main meal so i didn't have any dessert. However, I did sample the baked vanilla cheesecake my wife had. I love cheesecake and this one didn't disappoint. The one let down was the lack of a little cream or a scoop of ice cream. That would have been the only improvement.Coffee for the end. A whole carafe for ÂŁ2 is very reasonable.A couple of beers, a soft drink, 2 main meals, a dessert and a vat of coffee all came in just under ÂŁ50. For two people, that is very good price. There is a set menu available if you so wish.Either 2 or 3 courses. I can't remember but I believe it was ÂŁ13.95 for 2 course and ÂŁ17.95 for 3. A good selection of option including vegetarian, seafood and meat.Definitely recommended for a reasonably priced meal in a nice old pub.Support our pubs before they all die out. Get yourself down there and you will not be disappointed.
