Excellent food and very good service. Really nice, picturesque pub with friendly staff.Garden area is great in sun and the service is print. Would certainly recommend,as it was with us.

We celebrated my Father’s 90th birthday here today. It was very busy and lots of large tables full of diners. The staff we’re fantastic, very attentive and helped with all our celebrations!The food was really good and we did not have long waits, perfect timing with the service.Disabled facilities were good and in such an old building this is impressive.Thank you and will definitely be back!

We were with s large group of motorcyclists who stopped off for lunch after a ride out. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Service was excellent. Food orders were served very efficiently and were nice sized for a lunch. Everybody agreed that the food was very tasty and very enjoyable. Prices were also very good. A very nice saturday lunch out and will return.

We went just before Christmas and got a voucher to redeem if we returned in January or February.On both visits the food was excellent and the service was fantastic. On our second visit they were extremely busy but it didn't effect the service whatsoever. Would 100% recommend.

Quality and taste of the food on this visit was of the highest standard, so delicious. Risotto fritters with truffle just lip smacking tasty, steak sandwich that melted in the mouth due to perfect cooking and as always the staff were really good and make you feel like a regular valued customer.

We went for New Year's Day lunch our daughter her fiancé and the future in-laws and we were not disappointed. The food was amazing..well presented and super tasty. Portion sizes were more than adequate and the varied menu catered for all of out tastes. Very reasonable priced food considering the quality that was on the menu. Service was excellent.. polite and attentive...and the pub itself was stunning..open fire and beautiful rustic surroundings. Large carpark and outside seating available.Poppy the dog was welcomed also. Wouldn't hesitate to return and recommend.

Great food, great service (really great) and pricing reasonable for the high quality. We spent New Years Eve in one of the covered outside areas and it's very impressive and nicely done. Food was also quicker-than-expected to arrive, so overall we were all very impressed.

Excellent service in a Cosy country pub atmosphere. Delicious food and friendly staff. Perfect winter roast Sunday session, love a roast with all the veg trimmings and love the small dessert plus hot drink option.

The food is excellent and definitely generous portions. Really nice outdoor seating area. The guy that owns it is very entertaining. Plenty of parking too
