Buon Appetito in Mid Sussex

Graet food accompanied by lovely weather!! tagliatelle with seafood was soooo good with the house wine(white).

Wow, maybe the worst experience I’ve had with a local delivery place. Ordered two pizzas and an appetizer. Took over two hours to be delivered. We dug in hoping it would be okay. It wasn’t…..cold and congealed. It only took one bite from each to know it wasn’t edible. Called the restaurant, got yelled at because they were “busy” and then was told that someone would come pick it up and replace it. A driver did come to pick it up but didn’t bring anything to replace it. We then called for a refund and were told it was being processed. Hasn’t happened and the explanation is because we had a slice out of each of the cold pizzas. Avoid this place, terrible customer service.Owner is incorrect in saying we consumed half the product as well as that I’ve organized other people to write negative reviews. Yes we took a bite and then found it cold which is why we called to try for a resolution. If you wanted us to vomit back up those cold bites to return to you, you should’ve said. And if others are experiencing the same delivery issues, that’s on you and has nothing to do with me. Look at your reviews, the delivery ones are quite negative. Have flagged the charge with my bank as fraudulent.

The staff are lovely. And the food….absolutely incredible,I myself had a calzone and it was amazing perfect ratio of bread and filling. Along with the service impecable. And the prices are fabulous. The interior is romantic, peaceful and overall a lovely vibeThey had a really disruptive customer and they dealt with it in a cool calmed manor.Overall it’s a great place to visit.

Such a cute little place, service was amazing and so was the food and drinks! Was a reasonable price and portion sizes are really good!

Had such an amazing experience. Very attentive and very kind staff with really good food. Great value too. I felt very welcomed, comfortable and this is honestly one of my favourite restaurants. Looking forward to my next visit.

Warm welcome but 10% service charge sprung on your bill for two for lunch is unjustified; the prices are already high for afternoon lunch. My daughter had the Pizza, which was excellent. I had the fold-over version which was disappointing actually. I'd think takeaway next time. Presumably forced service charges don't apply, but I don't know. Tips should be voluntary and decided by the customer, not the owner. It is probably optional if you're up to a row after a relaxing lunch, but it is a deal breaker for me.

Brilliant atmosphere! Family owned and run and you can tell by the heart and soul of all. The Owners do take such pride in the relationships they have with their diners that keep coming back.... 5 out of 5 easily

Beautiful restaurant ...lovely atmosphere and the most delicious pasta ever

I love the food at this place but unfortunately I've just had too many bad experiences with the service when trying to get a take away, it brings what would be a 5 star review down to a 3 star. When ordering a take away, they never deliver it on time, if you phone to ask where it is they will tell you that it will be 5 minutes, 10 minutes or 15 minutes but it never is an accurate time frame. On another occasion, I arranged to collect but I was told my order was not ready, and to wait in my warm car while they prepared it and that they would wave when it was ready. After quite some time I went back in to chase it up, our pizza had been left on the side and forgotten about and was stone cold. It's massively unfortunate because despite the food being so good, we'd never go here for a takeaway for a special occasion, the service has already scuppered a birthday and a Valentine's Day celebration. I think Buon Appetito need to address this issue if they're going to offer a take away service.

Great evening to get all the work crew together. Really lovely food and great service and a reasonable bill too! Please, please please get some alcohol free beer though, that's a real oversight and disappointing for people who can't or don't drink alcohol.
