Costa Coffee in Mid Sussex

This review and score is not so much for the coffee and cake (worth 4 stars, especially the cake) but more for the servers who are easily worth 6 stars. I stopped here for a caffine top-up today during a long ride. A women in front of me was berating the young servers because they declined to make her a special (i.e. not on the menu) and at the price she decided she wanted to pay! They were polite and accomodating; she was agressive, rude, entitled and in the wrong. Well done to the two servers, who are a credit to their generation and make me ashamed of some of the people in mine.

Awful service from the woman working with Adam on Sunday. He looked totally embarrassed while she argued trying to give me £5 for a £4.20 refund. Not his fault she can't read a till. Then the attitude as I left, audibly talking about me in front of other customers. Refused to give her name. Disgusting

I tried to buy a coffee at the age of 15 and they told me that they would have to make it decaf. If you google what the legal age to drink coffee is, you will find that the age is 12+. Why am I being denied a coffee when there is no rule stating that I cannot have caffeine from coffees.

Good and as usual like all Costa coffee shops.Got good seating.Place was clean.Staff were okay.You can buy some sandwiches or wraps as well.

The girls in there are always so lovely . Lovely coffee always consistent on takeaway or have in !

My everyday coffee shop, but the place has gone downhill since a lot of their staff left. The previous manager was great and he would always have my drink ready and chat but now the place seems soulless.

Website states the store is open at 06:30. Stood outside waiting till after 7am, still wasn't open, went to a competitor. Get the basics I.e. opening times correct Costa. Staff just hid in the back room and didn't acknowledge a growing queue outside.

It was my favourite store but since they put those two guys in the morning the service and hygiene have gone down quite a bit, that’s my personal opinion.

This branch of Costa is my local when I am at work. Nora is the Manager and she is brilliant, so are her staff. She is very helpful and knowledgeable let's me know what infers they have on and goes out of her way to help. Today their coffee machine was not working. She said she would call me to let my colleagues and I know when it was back up and running again. Which she did!Thank you

I visit this costa most mornings on way home from work. Nora and the team are excellent. The coffee shop is always clean. The service even at there busiest times is always of the highest standard. The team are always happy to help and we'll the coffee is just the best. Thank you Nora and the team for making my last coffee of the day special and keep up the good work.
