Crossways Fish and Chips in Mid Sussex

Great local chippy. They do gluten free on Tuesdays. We also recently placed an extremely large order - the service and food were exemplary. Great food and staff :)

The best fish and chips by far. Always cooked to order so you have to wait, but boy, it's worth it!

Ordered haloumi/chips and cod/chips (light bite). Delicious. Staff were very kind and friendly. Great value.

Really nice and good fish and chip shop with an interesting and varied menu. Nice and clean and all staff were polite and courteous. Excellent quality food, I had a delicious Haddock portion with plenty of chips and really enjoyed my meal. One disappointment was the vinegar bottle I bought to bring home, it hardly had any flavour and tasted really watered down. They don't make this product so I can't mark them down for that. Happy to recommend 👌

I'm not local to Crossways, I was staying at an Airbnb just down the road, actually live in London. I can honestly say this was the nicest fish and chips i've ever had! Crunchy fluffy chips, crunchy fresh tasty fish that didn't fall to pieces and wasn't soggy with oil. I think I said "wow" too many times to count while eating it. Absolutely gutted I may never get to eat it again!

This is the best fish and chips that my wife have ever had. The batter on the fish was ligjt and crispy, like tempura batter and the fish was so tasty. The chips were fantastic, very crisp...An excellent meal, thank you.

I’ve had a LOT of fish and chips in my time, but these are really exceptional. Great fish, and perfect chips - crispy on the outside, fluffy inside. Just moved to the area so we will be regulars here. I’m deeply impressed

Just had fish supper from crossways fish and chips. Cod was tasty and batter crispy without being soaked in oil. Chips tasted like homemade ones and again not greasy. Will definitely be going back for more. Highly recommended a visit. Note: to order over the weekend phone during the day to secure a slot
