"The Farmers Freehouse is one of the best pubs in Sussex. We are a family run business in the heart of Sussex. We serve amazing culinary dishes, using fresh local ingredients and our staff are friendly & attentive. Family friendly pub with a large play area, social seating, pool table, dart board, games room. We have a beautiful restaurant for formal dining as well as a function room that opens up onto the decking and garden space. We have disabled access & dog friendly. We regularly host live music, Hog roasts, Outside Bar & BBQs. We have teamed up with local Breweries, Farmers & suppliers to bring you some of the best of British produce. We will be producing weekly videos to show you how to make our delicious specials at home!"

Just had sunday roast and was awful. Boil in bag beef . Wen t for 3 meats at 17.50. No lamb just a pile of boil in bag beef and chicken fillet the size of my finger said breast of chicken . Yorkshire burnt and waited over 1 hrs for food wasn't worth a fiver each don't go there .terrible

Amazing place, lovely food, great team. We stayed here to go for a hike next day. Breakfast included were very tasty. And we came back for a lunch too, which was fabulous. Highly recommend.

Lovely cask beers at below 15c and a warm welcome. Didn't eat but sat in their garden which reminds me of a little secret garden.Will go back when in the area, has a pool and billiards table, too!

A good traditional pub. My colleague and I took two rooms. The food was good, the landlord was very friendly and entertaining, and even gave us some billiards tips while we were playing. We also really enjoyed the extensive cocktail menu— mixologist landlords aren't easy to come by! Will definitely visit again.Only knocked off a star because the rooms were SO hot. I had a fan which helped but my colleague didn't, and really wished he did!
