Jack and Jill Inn in Mid Sussex

Jack and Jill Inn hosted our funeral party on 1sy July. They were really helpful from start to finish. Costs were competitive and transparent. The food was fresh and delicious and they catered well for vegans in our party. On the day, bar staff were attentive and helpful and on hand to answer our questions. The setting was tranquil in the garden and function room. They made a difficult day so much easier. Highly recommended

Turned up at 9pm on a Saturday and was told that the last meals were just paying so I'd have to drink up quick. Not expecting a pub to stay open just for me, but 9pm on a Saturday seems a bit early to be sent on your way!

We popped in following a walk for Sunday lunch. Highly recommend booking as they were fully booked up, including the garden. We managed to get a table in the garden by promising to order and eat quickly. When we left it was still pretty empty, inside and out.The garden is pretty big, including a kids area with playground.The roasts were nice and other menu items were pretty standard.

Lovely venue. Staff really friendly. This was a small family gathering so we were in the small cosy dinning area, which was very comfortable.The food portions are good and the food we had was also good. The pie, burger and lamb.Overall a good pub with good staff and good food. Will recommend this place.

We booked in for 4pm Sunday,oh my goodness they were lovely people,and the food is just delicious 😋, the choices on the menus were very very good. Roast beef dinner aw so good. we had the best time. Its a must place to go.

They got all the important things right :-) .... lovely friendly staff made us very welcome, good choice of food well cooked serves and presented, nothing too much trouble. Room very clean but somewhat basic, bed comfortable. No where to hang our clothes .. though I gather that was just our room and neither my husband nor I could make the TV work but that wasn't important to us ... the last 2 points account firms the 4 rather than 5 stars. Ample parking, good wifi.Lovely spot with Jack and Jill windmills (amazing views) and the hidden gem of a oerfec Saxon/Norman church nearby.

Ran my father's wake here for about 40 people in the function room in February 2022. We chose Jack and Jill because of the ease of access from Brighton, bags of parking and the lovely cosy yet airy function room that opens onto the garden. We got all that and more with friendly, flexible and highly responsive staff, good pricing and a buffet lunch for everyone that exceeded all our expectations. The sandwiches were clearly super fresh and the baking was superb, everything thoughtfully put together and some specials that we had requested too. If they give you the suggestion of lemon drizzle cake, take it! I've never tasted anything even close to it....full marks Paul and the team!

thank you very much for hosting our group of 14 at lunch time last Saturday, 12th Feb. It was obviously a very hectic time, but you served us with speed, efficiency and politeness, under stressful conditions. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food, and our time with you, so thanks again.I'm sure our group will be back at some point

A very dated pub but perhaps why it's so popular. It has decent drinks, and a nice garden with a playground. Very friendly bar staff.

It was nice and cosy, really enjoyed my sweet potato burger. Wish I could have tried the vegetarian wellington Sunday roast but they had unfortunately run out. Sounded great! It was busy there, very popular. The cider was full of apple flavour. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Perfect place to end a walk around Wolstonbury Hill
