Lemongrass in Mid Sussex

Ordered a takeaway. It came with the wrong dish. A side dish rather than main. Called up to highlight and was told that they would be 'willing' to send out the dish! The Pad Thai was clumpy, claggy and mixed together like a dogs dinner. The tofu stir fry was disgusting. The flour coated tofu and veg wasn't even cooked, it was a clammy mess. Hardly any sauce to cover the food. It all went in the bin! At these restaurant prices it wasn't good at all. Never again!

I'm actually baffled at some of these reviews praising the food.. Are you talking about the same restaurant? Ours was a greasy gloopy mess that was barely edible due to the amount of oil everything was soaked in. I felt heavy and ill after eating. Definitely won't order again. I can't understand why it's so expensive as well... Waste of money for below average food, £16 for one dish without rice, £19 dry chewy duck starter wraps. our order total was £70, such a disappointment

We love this place. Staff are great and helped us! My favourite is the Jumbo prawn Choo Chee, it is absolutely delightful. Will always come back

We have eaten at the Lemongrass many times in the evening and always enjoy our meal. However we have not tried the lunch Tapas until today and wow was it good. Possibly the most enjoyable lunch we have had as the food was faultless and at £13.95pp including drink is great value.

I was in a hurry to have some lunch, because the parking on the other side of the road is only one hour. The staff was very friendly, and the food was served quickly. It is great that it wasn't busy, there was only another family eating. The food was very tasty, the meats were tender, I had some coconut rice and coconut based dishes. The price was okay. Recommend this place. 10/10 will go again.

We've been ordering regularly from here for about a year. It was great up until the last 6 to 8 weeks, the prices seemed to have increased alot and the Phad Thai has arrived sloppy and in smaller than normal portions. Unfortunately we've stopped ordering as a result, hopefully we can find another tasty local Thai restaurant in the area.

We bought a Thai green curry takeaway from here.! Normally my Favourite.. but this was more like a yellow curry.. Bland flavourless bowl of yellow thick sauce with mainly water chestnuts.. tried going in and complaining the following day but suddenly they couldn’t understand what I was saying..I will never waste £40 here again..

A favourite of my daughters and in fact the entire family.Choo Chee Seabass , Massaman lamb, Ghanom Jeeb, and Squid rings are our regular orders..
