Always friendly staff and love all the drinks + sandwiches they offer. Also perfectly friendly to bring my baby along to for a spot of lunch, or a laptop for a change of scene working from home :-)

I was given a bag of their coffee beans for Christmas and finally got to pop in. Really nice spot with a good vibe.Tasty coffee and the best way to describe the salad special that day was “exactly what I didn’t know I needed!”Very tasty flavours with quinoa, roasted cauliflower, chickpeas and crumbled feta. Not a dish I would normally go for, but really excellent flavours.

Hmm. Mixed bag, at least on the day I visited. The good:- Food tasted great- Coffee was amazingThe bad:- Food (simple open sandwiches) took ages to arrive. The place wasn't rammed and they have a lot of staff- food menu is very limited- ordering takes way longer than it shouldThe ugly:The tables were filthy. Old food and bird pooWhen ordering you do so at the counter and can get a good look into the kitchen. It also was filthyPoor management IMHO. If you want a fantastic coffee on the go worth a look

I visited Coffee Works for the first time on Saturday , wasn't impressed! Firstly staff not friendly and i was given as a cappuccino regular in a tiny paper cup, cost £3.10, maybe they ran out china coffee cups and shortage of coffee, I wouldn't recommend this coffee shop, not value for your money rip-off , better at Nero coffee shop in Haywards Heath .

Some of the best coffee we’ve every enjoyed. Expertly roasted and brewed. We always have a bag of beans at home too. ☕️

LCW is outstanding! It’s an incredibly well executed speciality coffee venue that’s to be found in a surprising location off Lindfield high street. I’m confident that the closest comparably good speciality cafe is in Brighton, so LCW really occupies a special niche in the local market. There’s MINCKA in Haywards Heath, and also a Sussex Coffee Trucks wagon on Burrell Road (which serves LCW coffee!), but neither of them are on a par with LCW’s cafe in Lindfield. The Sussex Coffee Trucks coffee is of a high standard, but it’s a different proposition to LCW’s cafe since it’s takeaway only. The attention to detail in terms of design, etc., is excellent; the baristas seem knowledgable and competent; the coffee is delicious, and there’s plenty of fresh beans to buy on your way out. The team have also created some stylish little brews guides that are printed in a postcard format - super classy, and a neat little thing to have when preparing coffee at home.I like the fact that the food menu is minimalist. However, if I were to suggest any constructive feedback, then it would be to offer a food option without bread. I’m all too aware of the intimate relationship between coffee shops and baked goods, so I get it, but it would be nice for those of us that don’t / can’t eat carbohydrates to be able to eat something alongside our delectable coffee.

Great meet-up spot for coffee and brunch. Dogs allowed and small outdoor space. No parking available, but park on the high street (maximum 2 hours) and walk over to the shop.

·

Amazing coffee shop. Very much Aussie/NZ vibes and offers great coffee to purchase by the bag with a tasty menu of savoury, sweet and everything in between!

·

Outstanding coffee, outstanding service. In terms of roasting whole bean they are up there with the best I have had. Fantastic tips on brewing and free delivery within an 8 mile radius of the shop. Also very reasonably priced. They source a lot of single origin coffees and there is clearly a really good seasonal turnover.

Good coffee and very chilled out vibes to meet friends and work for a few hours. Got charging points inside. Good lunch options too
