Mcdonald's Restaurants in Mid Sussex

I was very disappointed with my big mac chips and milk shake which I ordered in store as take away. I had not been to a McDonalds in years. I waited about 10 mins for my order to be prepared.I thought it was being made fresh ? Chips were warm and rubbery, burger was warm and lettuce etc was limp, milk shake was watery , not cold and had no taste. All in all horrible. Will not be going back ever ! Have to say staff were polite and helpfull though.

McDonalds in Burgess Hill getting worse, had to wait 10 minutes for food, they gave me my drink and Mcflurry whilst waiting for food. By the time they brought my food out the Mcflurry had melted completely, on getting my food I asked for another one and it wasn't done straight away had to wait while she came out serving other customers by that time my food was getting cold. No customer service at all, I was an inconvenience to her. There was no apology, no smile, for goodness sake Mangers teach your staff basic customer service. Very poor indeed!!

Waited an hour and 20 mins for my order.Others waited longer.I have read comments on here that they priorities delivery drivers. I don't believe this is true. Some were there before I came in and were still waiting when I left. I hope they get paid for waiting.They need more staff and a manager who knows what she is doing. I'm surprised a riot didn't break out.

Very busy around lunchtime as you would expect, service generally good, food and drink of the same standard

I have ordered a few times now and every time my food is ice cold, when using the drive through I have to wait 10 min minimum in the parking bay.This is the most excruciating experience ever when it comes at Mcdonalds! What is up with This?

Good food. The only issue was that the beef burger was quite dry and was basically falling apart, held up by cheese alone. The young employee that served us was very nice. The place is enjoyable like all McDonald's fast food places. 😁

A very consistent McDonald’s - ALWAYS poor service and food, so much so that I’ve finally felt the need to write my first review (read: Warning!). Constantly waiting 15-20+ minutes in the car park for food that will be brought out by a miserable looking teenager who won’t even look at you, let alone apologise for the delay! Food will be stone cold and something is always wrong or just missing entirely! Had kids toys missing a few times leading to very disappointed toddlers and arguments when we are lucky enough to get one toy! I don’t complain any more because the managers are all so rude and will demand your receipt and carry out some sort of investigation as if they don’t believe it was missed! Don’t worry, nobody’s putting that much effort into getting free food from you, it’s not worth it by the time you have to wait around. Don’t bother wasting your time and money here. This place was alright a few years back, not sure what’s gone so badly wrong!

Go to this McDonalds a few times a week and every now and then have to scrape the greasy burnt fat off my burgers. Not very appetising when this happens but overall ok here

Absolutely shocking!!! We went to the drive thru to be told to park up while we wait for our food, fair enough we don't mind doing this but for 20 minutes!!! And then when the girl gave us our food we had no apology and it was all stone cold!!! We then had to wait a further 10 minutes for more food to be prepared. This was meant to be a quick fast food dinner after a 12 hour shift at work. Would have been quicker to go to a restaurant and have a sit down meal!!

Staff are really really friendly but don't think about coming here at lunchtime or around 5-6pm.Not sure who approved planning permission for this place but the drive thru queues onto roundabout regularly.Absolute pig to get into if it's busyIt's the only Mcdonalds in this area, nearest one south is about 25 minutes and the same north.
