Monsoon Dining Rooms in Mid Sussex

Awesome food and service. Five stars!

Great service, lovely food and friendly staff!

Popped in for a quick curry and a beer with a mate.Never eaten here before.Chicken Madras was great. Going again in April.

First time dining at Monsoon, at it was perfect! Good atmosphere, lovely food, great service, even tho they were super busy! I am a fussy vegan and the man who took the food order was very helpful to make the required changes. We shall return!

Always enjoy it here.Love the food. One of my favourite places to eat in East Grinstead.

Order wrong and food inferior to local comparisons but they did accommodate us at short notice on a busy evening

Super food as always, best curry house in East Grinstead. Never disappointed!!

We have been regulars before during and after lockdown so thought it was high time we gave a review as we take it for granted. Jay and the waiters are friendly and helpful and know exactly which table we like and have our poppodums and beers ready without asking. The menu is extensive with innovative house specialities as well as the traditional curries and all the ones we have tried have been delicious with a good balance of succulent meat or chicken or fish and sauce and a generous portion size. We have tried many many Indian Restaurants over the years the Monsoon is the best.

The worst dhansak I have ever had both in flavour and texture. The side of okra was slimy and the parata was so very dense. None of the other dishes were very good. We will not be ordering from there again.

Always get a warm welcome and a great curry (including takeaway delivery). Very central location and lots of seating. Nice and light modern interior. Only suggestion would be that the toilets (although always very clean) could do with a revamp as lets place down I feel.
