Excellent food and friendly service

Expensive and nothing special. Coming from London this is average plus had to wait 30 mins for a takeaway despite going at opening times.

The team here are always so welcoming. A great local Indian. Food is a little westernised but suits the village. Great selection of large beers.

Well I’ve not been there for about 10 years and was always good.... I was going to pass the door.... and for a treat I said to the wife. Does she fancy a curry. I ordered 2 chicken vindaloo mushroom rice, onion rice. Came to £22.95.... they wanted cash😳 we pay the vat.... but they don’t want to, with no savings to us..... there was 4 bits of chicken and 3 potatoes..... vindaloo 😳 there was no heat at all. And very watery...... would I go back? Never...... it was the worst vindaloo I’ve ever had. And a waste of money....

Been coming here for a couple of years now. Really nice owner and good food compared to any other curry house nearby. Fairly pricey but worth it. They would make tons if they had their own delivery service.

Perfectly pleasant staff and a nice restaurant, the flavour of the food was rather nice but the chicken was somewhat sparse when compared to other Indian restaurants that I have frequented. Definitely worthy of 5 stars if this issue is addressed 👍

Ordered a takeaway Tarka Dall and meat samosa to supplement a family homemade meal. When we went to collect they had forgotten the order so we had to wait for it to be prepared. When we got home and the rest of the food was ready we found that we only had Tarka Dall and no samosas. Disappointed we ate our meal. Later the same evening we called to explain what happened and were told it was too late to get a refund. I ended up having to go back to the restaurant with the empty cartons and receipts. I was accused of swearing on the phone which was a complete lie! Then threatened with forceable removal from the building. They then said you want a refund here it is and threw a £10 note at me. I had been a long term customer. Never again and will tell everyone I know.

Fantastic curry, very helpful and polite staff and a lovely place to sit and eat. Can get busy, so booking is a good idea to eat in. Have been many times with family as it was the local growing up and has always been very consistent.
