Pizza Express in Mid Sussex

Very good atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and the service was quick. My pizza with extra extra jalapeños was yummmm

Went for a meal with the family to Haywards Heath Pizza Express yesterday and couldn't have been less impressed. Lacklustre service (that's putting it mildly), zero atmosphere and the food was terrible. Even the kids thought it was bad.

Great food and friendly server. Increased menu recently so a few more options which was lovely to see.

Absolutely awful service last night sat down at 7pm took order about 7:10 then took well over an hour to get our food which when arrived had barely any toppings on so practically eating plain pizza wasn't worth an hour's wait for and definitely not worth the price charged for them.

Disappointed with our visit. Arrived at 5pm and was very quiet then, starter arrived quickly but then we waited over an hour for our main course. When it did arrive they forgot to bring my daughters dinner, 10 minutes later we managed to get someone's attention and they brought it over, although by this point we were nearing her bedtime as everything had taken so long so it wasn't a very relaxing meal!! Same thing happened with the bill, we had to ask twice and it took an age, I ended up having to leave with my daughter and my husband stayed to wait. Food was nice when it arrived but I would say beware if you're going with a 21 month old and you don't have hours to play with!

Ate pollo pesto here on Friday , the food was honestly the best food I’ve ever had at pizza express food came quick but was unfortunately badly let down by customer service. when I was eventually seated the waitress I was served by seemed very distracted and didn’t really seem to care about her job . I have eaten here before recently and can say it’s the same story with the staff I won’t be back due to the young staff , they need supervision and proper management in place !!

Waited 1.5 hours for food with no reason or time frame given, staff were all young and didn’t care or know what was going on including the manager. The real issue was we had the kids with us are young and who didn’t eat till what was nearly their bed time in the end, so it was them moaning and bored plus no explanation from staff or regard. Shame as PE is usually a great quick meal option with the kids …….

Never order pizza Margherita take away!Cold, bone dry with minimum tomato sauce on it and no cheese at all. Any real Italian would have a fit! One pizza was off the taste was scary a bit fishy;( I had to cook a meal next to a take away pizza in a box. Went back to Haywards Heath and luckily got £20 back really a disappointing experience first order last order.

A fairly small Pizza Express in a parade of restaurants in Haywards Heath.The food is exactly what you'd expect from a Pizza Express, and produced in a small open kitchen at the rear of the restaurant.The only downside is the wide range of over- and under- parenting of small children from some of the other clientele

The atmosphere was similar to a normal pizza express chain and the staff was nice enough but it just wasn’t a good experience overall. The staff were very obnoxious and clearly pretending to be nice. The chef seemed very nice and it’s a shame he couldn’t serve us himself.
