Had a great dinner at The Glass House Restaurant.Food, location, service, all excellent. Abbie in particular was really lovely, very attentive and provided a 5* service.First time dining here and will definitely return and recommend to others.

This has fast become our favourite restaurant. Amazingly friendly and attentive staff, great atmosphere, great food and so reasonably priced. Added bonus that their outside seating area is heated during the Covid restrictions!

Excellent all round. We had a wonderful time at The Glass House Restaurant. Beautiful setting and venue, high quality food and good menu choices, topped off by very good service by all waiting staff. Couldn't have asked for more to make our anniversary celebrations anymore perfect. Thank you! :-)

Had a wonderful lunch today in the Glass House restaurant. My husband and I celebrated 40th wedding anniversary, complimentary champagne and dessert.The food was excellent, as alwaysThe staff were wonderful as they always are. We will continue to visit the restaurant as often as possible.

We were taken to this stylish restaurant by friends a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed it so much we took other friends there a week later.We were warmly greeted and chairs arranged for us by the fire where we had some pre dining drinks.Our glasses were taken through to the restaurant once our starter course was ready to be served.Attention to detail, courteous manners and excellent service flowed throughout our meal.I am a fish eating vegetarian and was greatly surprised to see a very varied choice of dishes suitable for my diet which were superbly cooked and presented. The food was tasty, hot and beautifully cooked.Our friends were also very impressed and will be returning . . .just hope they invite us too!!!!A delightful experience very well priced. Looking forward to returning soon.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were very friendly, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the glass restaurant itself was elegant without being pretentious. The food was amazing! I'm not vegan or gluten free but the meal I had was and it was so delicious and interesting. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Went here for a meal for my husbands Birthday and our Anniversary. My son came with us. From arrival we were met very warmly and escorted into the restaurant. The meal was excellent and the service was outsatanding. Nothing was too much trouble and all waiting staff were very friendly and helpful. At the end of the meal we had two plates bought out with choclates on and Happy Anniversary and Happy Birthday on them which was a lovely touch. Will definitely be returning and have already recommended the restaurant to my friends.

I don't usually leave bad reviews, but I felt I had to with this one. I just took my elderly father out for a birthday lunch. Service and setting was initially quite good. But then we had to wait a half-hour for a small starter and then well over an hour for the main course, which for a place that was half empty was unacceptable.We were left there with nothing explained to us, or apologies for the delay which would have made the difference.The thing that really got me however, is when I got up and politely complained, the waitress barely acknowledged me, pretty much blanked me. So we decided to walk out, and had to find a pub nearby to get lunch last minute. Pretty much ruined the special day out.I wouldn't recommend this place, unless you are willing to wait two hours to eat your food, and feel very agitated in the process.Not impressed at all.

Amazing setting and beautiful grounds. The Glass house Restaurant at Wickwoods is hidden in the countryside, a lovely location and has beautiful gardens. There is plenty of easy parking.As soon as we walked in the front door we were made very welcome. We were shown to the Glasshouse restaurant, again by welcoming and very polite staff. The restaurant was well laid out and looked stunning.The dinner was for birthday celebration. It had been a scorching day so we were offered a table indoor or outside outside under a large canopy/umbrella. We opted for outside.The waitress was very attentive, polite and served us extremely well. There is an excellent wine list and not too pricey. We didn't have to wait long for our starters, which all looked amazing. Our waitress came and checked everything was ok and re filled our glasses but didn't bother us. Our Mains were as good as our starters and so were our puddings. There is a good selection on the menu. My wife is pescatarian and had no problem making a good choice.All in all, we had a lovely time, with excellent service, superb food and a great venue.Highly recommend and looking forward to the next...... which won't be long.

I recently took my elderly parents and my daughter for lunch at The Glass House. From start to finish we were treated perfectly. We were greeted in Reception, shown to our table and my coeliac/vegetarian diet was acknowledged and catered for. The food was plentiful and beautifully presented. Staff were polite and friendly, food was exquisite and The Glass House itself is set in a beautiful area with lovely views. Thank you for being attentive, kind and for providing an occasion to remember.
