The Acorn in Mid Sussex

You know what you're getting with beefeater and the food was up to standard and tasty. However they had run out of quite a few dishes and we only arrived at 1pm (maybe because it was a bank holiday?), also the service was slow which was a bit frustrating, especially when trying to entertain 5 and 8 year old children.

I've always enjoyed my time here and the food is mostly consistently good.

This was our very first visit to Beefeater Burgess hill restaurant. We were very much impressed by the kind, helping and professional attitude shown by the manager Paul and the serving staff. We actually dropped in on a Saturday evening without any prior reservation as we were on an unplanned outing. The service was quick and the food was amazing. We all had a good hearty lunch and looking forward to be back sometime soon. A sure recommend to anybody planning to visit the burgess hill branch of the restaurant. Thanks!!

Nice bar / restaurant style Beefeater. Attached to a Premier Inn Hotel but separate businesses, we visited just before lunch so plenty of tables available. Once their lunch service started the restaurant started to get steadily busier. Nice friendly, attentive staff who did all they could to make lunch enjoyable.

If you haven't been to a Beefeater before all you need to know is that they have a standard menu serving grilled foods. Although the restaurants are different they share a similar style and are generally co-located with a Premier Inn hotel. Our visit to The Acorn was great, our waitress, Shyirra, was polite and friendly and our food was delivered quickly and as ordered. We both enjoyed our meals, sirloin steak and a beef burger and they were cooked exactly as requested. If you want grilled foods then a Beefeater is always reliable and The Acorn was no exception. There is a plant based menu available but we didn't look at it.

Cannot reccomend the acorn enough. We go there almost every week and are never disappointed. The food is good, great variety and the staff.... absolutely make our visit. The girls are incredible and my son loves them! They always accommodate everything we ask for and make us feel comfortable everytime we are there. Becky, Ellie, katie, Rebecca, Laura, Rae, Shy and Leanne are all incredible! ♥️

Very friendly and attentive service. Disappointed that so many of the menu items were not available, bit that's down to wider supply chain issues. Good quality and quantity food for the price.

Hit and miss here. Our food was left sitting under the lamp for a while as we sat and watched it before it was delivered!!! Sauce on both our dinners was cold. A lot of items on menu were unavailable which suggests a lot of the food is brought in. However I have had good meals here in the past

Always good. I visit occasionally with my wife and/or daughter and the food and service are spot on. The portions are plentiful. Our server Ellie (the last couple of times) was friendly and gave us everything we needed. Highly recommended.

After a long wait, we visited our local beefeater and wow it was really, really nice experienceThey have a good chef, the food was amazing, you can see the starters - chicken wings and steak skewers and mains beef pie and slow cooked pork ribs didn't make to the photos - we can recommend a visit, also the staff was very nice - we had Kerry, thank you guys, we will be back
