Stayed two nights in a ground floor room opening to the garden. Plenty of space and nicely furnished. Food was good and service was friendly and efficient. Decent continental breakfast buffet. We enjoyed our stay.

Really nice place, we enjoy coming here but I have to say the food is very hot and Miss at the moment. The starters are overpriced. The salt and pepper squid was a few small pieces and had neither salt nor pepper. The bruschetta was delicious. My main of pie had so much mash there is no way I could have gone through it but was nice. The burger comes very plain, not a single trace of green alongside. The fish and chips was again really good.A bit more consistency would be great but overall it’s a lovely place and the food is overall tasty and good quality ingredients. The staff are always very pleasant.

Lovely place for an overnight stay. Traditional classic pub with accommodation. Menu was as you would expect and food was great. Staff couldn't do enough for us. We needed to leave early before their normal breakfast time, they prepared breakfast early for us so we didn't miss out. Rooms are nice and beds are comfy.

Very nice country pub with a lovely beer garden. Nice friendly helpful staff. Spotlessly clean. We did not eat there, but am sure it would be very good.

Went here for an ad hoc Sunday lunch and was blown away. The food was amazing. Huge portions. The customer service was fantastic and reasonably priced. Overall the pub has a lovely feel and is well set up for serving food. Excellent I will be returning.

There were 19 of us. Service was excellent, food was good. Real ale from the Badger Brewery was kept properly. Busy and a good atmosphere. Happy to go again! We booked in advance due to the numbers. Easy to get to by car and lots of parking.

Welcoming friendly staff in nice surroundings. The menu is a little basic if I'm honest and on my order of the Cowdray burger a side salad garnish would have been nice. It was literally a burger and chips but it was well cooked and juicy. I have been to better in the locality.

This is the second time we've taken our day trip business to The Cowdray Arms and it was just as good this time round. The team are incredibly professional and efficient and the food delicious. Our clients love it here and we couldn't praise Michelle, Will and the team enough! See you again soon. RoadTrippers!

We had a very long and rather late Sunday lunch here and it was perfect. The roast was very good, very generous and excellent quality. The cauliflower cheese croquettes were a brilliant addition and I'd happily eat an entire plate of these! They had a kids menu and the staff were really accommodating when there was a confusion over our booking. The staff were friendly and professional. All in all a wonderful long lunch and would highly recommend.

Good food, great service and warm atmosphere. We haven't been to the Cowdray Arms since it changed ownership and its an absolute gem now. We went for a Sunday roast which was superb, all locally sourced and well cooked with great flavours. Service staff very welcoming and attentive and the decor and atmosphere are inviting and charming. Would definitely recommend. Best Sunday roast in the area! Will be back for the rest of the menu
